Old Wang opened a pipe factory in Cixi, specializing in PVC drainage pipes and profiles. Last month, the municipal order was delayed. The batch of SG-5 from Zhongtai Chemical, SG-5 from Xinjiang Tianye, and several bags of SG-8 high-polymerization material in the warehouse slept on the pallet for over three months. The forklift driver walked around the road; the bag mouth was sticky due to the high workshop temperature, and the money on the ledger still had the words "stock material"—in other words, dead money lying on the books.

If the order is delayed, you can take it again; if the customer changes the formula, you can negotiate again, but the pile of PVC in your warehouse won't just grow and disappear on its own.

Obsolete material isn't an asset, it's a liability lying on the books.

PVC this thing has loose powder and shiny granules, mixed with calcium powder, stabilizers, and plasticizers—very mixed ingredients. It has a clear flaw after being stored for a long time: the plasticizer migrates to the surface, just like bread leaking oil—after prolonged storage, the surface becomes oily, sticky to the touch, and the material quietly falls off. What's more troublesome is that SG-5 general-purpose material and SG-8 high-polymerization material have completely different uses. When mixed together, tubes easily become brittle and profiles deform. If you don't know grading, mixing powder and granular materials into one bag opening will cause the seller to pay you at the wholesale price, selling good materials at a junk price. Over time, the color turns yellow, the label wears off, and even you forget the batch yourself.

PVC just sitting there won't appreciate in value; it will just slowly migrate, age, and lose value.

Let me tell you a truth: Old Wang once found a scrap goods dealer who drove a small truck, circled the warehouse twice, and immediately said, "Your material is yellowing, sticky, and mixed with calcium powder. I'll calculate the bulk price for you." Old Wang thought he'd quickly make room and agreed. But after weighing, the other party started picking bags again—one bag had impurities, another had smudged labels, and they cut another 200 yuan per ton. Old Wang was frustrated, but the goods were already loaded, what else could he do?

The wholesaler calculated better than your accountant—picking out good materials and charging them as defective ones, returning dirty materials as shipping fees. Honestly, they're not making money from scrap, but money from those who don't understand the trade.

The vendor's quotation sheet is like a weather forecast—just glance at it before you leave, don't take it seriously.

Kelong New Materials focuses on terminal digestion for PVC recycling, not relying on resale to make price differences. Mainstream grades like Zhongtai Chemical SG-5, SG-8, and Xinjiang Tianye SG-5 are used by downstream pipes, profiles, and modification plants. After grading, they are directly taken away without holding back warehouses. We don't pick out batches of mixed materials, slightly yellow color, or high impurity content—they go into Cologne's own modified granulation formula and digest it, just like mixing Chinese medicine, one flavor is softer, and another ingredient is added to compensate.

Pricing isn't one-size-fits-all. Grades by degree of polymerization, appearance, and impurity content; new materials get good prices, slightly aged ones are accepted as modified grades, and the price difference is displayed on the table. Plus, with our own production capacity and long-term customers as a backup, our quotes don't fluctuate wildly with the market. When prices rise, they chase after you; when prices drop, we ignore calls. We still get what we deserve.

Good materials aren't afraid of no buyers; what's scary is selling good materials as waste.

The five-step cooperation process: material submission, grading and evaluation, on-site pickup, deduction of payment, settlement and invoice. Old Wang's batch of materials was done this way—he took a few photos and sent them with grades and roughly ten tons. After we appraised and quoted a price, we arranged a time for on-site weighing. After the goods were brought back, the recycling payment was directly offset by his purchase of KONICE modified plastics next month, nearly half. So the warehouse was cleared, the cash was back, and the new material arrived at the factory. After the trip, he told me he should have handled it two years earlier.

The essence of recycling isn't selling scrap, but turning dead money into working money.

Recyclable PVC covers mainstream suspension grades like Zhongtai Chemical's SG-5, SG-8, and Xinjiang Tianye SG-5. Other brands like Shanghai Chlor-Alkali and Wanhua Chemical are evaluated based on physical appraisal. Formally, we collect all the following: obsolete raw material (whole or loose packaging is fine), pipe profiles, sprue material, extruded scraps, machine head material, scrap pipe fittings and profiles, and inventory tail material. Separate reports for powder and pellets; if calcium powder content is high, please specify for more accurate grading.

Three common misconceptions, a reminder —

"Is recycling just about selling cheaply?" "The truth is selling by grade and grade; good materials can sell at good prices, but mixed materials get pushed down."

"Waiting for price increases?" "The truth is that PVC will only migrate, age, and lose value, and after sticking and yellowing, it loses value."

"Who bids higher and sells to whom?" "The truth is that when you get it, you bargain, weigh, or delay payments. Comparing prices to three companies actually causes losses."
