PETG这东西,说白了就是共聚聚酯,比PET韧、比PC透明,专做收缩标签、包装膜、厚壁透明件。它娇贵在哪?怕吸潮、怕高温、怕跟普通PET混。跟透明保鲜膜放久了粘手一个道理——料本身没坏,可吸了潮,挤出片材的时候就容易出晶点、发雾。更头疼的是PETG单价不低,一托压下去就是好几万,放一年资金成本和仓库租金两头吃。
共聚聚酯一旦吸潮,身价就跟着打折。更头疼的是PETG跟PCTG摆一起,光靠眼睛分不出来,得测收缩率和透光率。贩子不懂这套,抓起来捏两下,直接按透明聚酯统货给你算,好料卖了个渣价。
说个真事,老韩之前问过一圈收废料的。一听是PETG,有人直接说"这共聚聚酯太小众,我们做不了";有人报了个价,等老韩把人叫过来,对方捏了两下袋子,说"你这料放久了吸潮,只能当普通透明聚酯收",价格砍下去快三成。老韩想反驳,可人家两手一摊,"你不卖给我,门口排队的人多了去"。
统货商看见小众共聚聚酯,比看见肥肉还开心——他知道你找不到下家,正好往死里压。他不是来收货的,是来收你的焦虑的。
说白了,他给的价,永远是他转手再卖一刀的价。

合作流程走五步:报料、分级评估、上门收货、抵扣货款、结算开票。老韩那批料就是这么处理的——他拍了照发来,标了MN211大概两吨、K2012三吨,我们评估完报了价,约了时间上门过磅。回收款直接抵扣了他下个月采购KONICE改性塑料的货款,抵了差不多两万多。仓库清出半间,老韩说那感觉跟清了笔旧账一样舒坦。
回收不是把共聚聚酯贱卖,是把压在仓位上的死钱盘活。老韩后来把这事跟同行一说,同行才开窍——原来PETG不是没人要,是没找对人。
目前可回收的PETG牌号,包括伊士曼Eastar PETG MN211、GN071,SK Skygreen K2012、PN200、KN100等主流编号;三菱化学、Selenis等其余牌号以实物评估为准。形态上都收:呆滞原包料、收缩标签边角、包装膜浇口、透明片废品、库存尾料。透明料别跟有色料混堆,分开装分级价更优。

Old Han opened a shrink label factory in Kunshan, Suzhou, making heat shrink labels for beverage factories. Last month, the client switched the label material from PETG to regular PET, and the bags of Eastman MN211 and SK K2012 in the warehouse sat on pallets for almost a year. A layer of dust had settled on the bags, the labels were still clear, but no one came to pick them up. Every time Old Han did the inventory, he sighed—this material was imported at a high price back then, and now it's piled up like waste plastic.
The label industry changes instantly; the material stored in the warehouse doesn't change on its own.
Obsolete material isn't goods, it's cash flow forgotten by the supply chain.
PETG this stuff, to put it simply, is copolyester—tougher than PET and more transparent than PC, specialized for shrink labels, packaging films, and thick-walled transparent parts. What makes it so delicate? It absorbs moisture, heat, and mixes with ordinary PET. It's the same as transparent cling film that sticks to your hands after being stored for a long time—the material itself isn't spoiled, but if it absorbs moisture, the sheets tend to develop specks and fog up when squeezing out. What's even more troublesome is that PETG is expensive—if you stack it down, it costs tens of thousands, and you have to cover both capital costs and warehouse rent for a year.
Copolyester absorbs moisture, and its value drops accordingly. What's even more troublesome is that when PETG and PCTG are placed together, you can't tell by eye alone; shrinkage and light transmittance are measured. The dealer didn't understand this trick, grabbed it, squeezed it a couple of times, and directly calculated it as transparent polyester for you. The good material sold at a junk price.
To tell a truth, Old Han once asked around around around waste collectors. As soon as he heard it was PETG, someone immediately said, "This copolymer polyester is too niche, we can't do it." Someone quoted a price, and when Old Han called him over, the other party pinched the bag twice and said, "Your material gets damp from sitting too long, so you can only buy it as regular transparent polyester," cutting the price by nearly 30%. Old Han wanted to argue, but the other shrugged, "If you don't sell to me, there will be a long line at the door."
The wholesaler is happier when they see niche copolymer polyester than when they see the fat meat—they know you can't find a buyer, so they press hard to get it. He's not here to buy goods, he's here to collect your anxiety.
To put it bluntly, the price he gives is always the price he would sell for another cut.

Eastar MN211 and GN071, medical-grade and packaging film grades commonly used, are still used by downstream sheet mills, and after grading, they are directly sold off. SK Skygreen K2012, PN200, KN100 shrinkage label grades are also accepted—niche materials are processed into our own transparent modified formulas, regardless of batch or color. PETG is originally used for transparent copolymerization, and when mixed back into transparent modified materials, its physical properties still match.
Pricing is based on light transmittance, shrinkage rate, and appearance. Clean and transparent materials are priced well, while slightly moisture-absorbing materials are accepted as modified transparent materials. With our own production capacity and long-term customers as a backup, our quotes are stable—no price hikes just because your material is niche.

The five-step cooperation process: material submission, grading evaluation, on-site pickup, deduction of payment, settlement and invoice. That's how Old Han handled the material—he took photos and sent them, bidding about two tons for MN211 and three tons for K2012. After we appraised and quoted the price, we scheduled a time for on-site weighing. The recycling payment directly offset the purchase of KONICE modified plastics for the next month, offsetting nearly 20,000 yuan. After clearing half the warehouse, Old Han said it felt as satisfying as clearing an old debt.
Recycling isn't about selling copolyester cheaply; it's about revitalizing the dead money tied to the warehouse. Later, Old Han told his peers about this, and they finally understood—it wasn't that no one wanted PETG, but that they hadn't found the right person.
Currently, the recycled PETG grades include Eastar PETG MN211, GN071, SK Skygreen K2012, PN200, KN100, and other mainstream numbers; Other grades like Mitsubishi Chemical and Selenis are based on physical appraisal. In terms of form, they collect: obsolete original packaging, shrinkage label edges, packaging film gates, transparent sheet scrap, and stock scrap. Don't mix transparent materials with colorants; packaging them separately and grading them is better for better prices.
