Old Chen makes automotive connectors in Yueqing, and the warehouse downstairs in the workshop is stacked with 32 tons of raw PBT raw material. Last month, the OEM factory issued a notice cutting that terminal project, and the bag was still dated October last year. When the forklift moved the pallet to a corner, Old Chen flipped through the ledger and cursed, "This material was bought at 161 kilograms. How much is it selling for now?" The warehouse manager nearby didn't dare respond, only seeing that the bags on top of the stack were already damp and dark.

PBT This stuff is used in large quantities and comes in mixed grades. Once the project stops, it's tons of real cash on the plate.

Obsolete material isn't inventory, it's an IOU with interest increasing every month. Why is it so troublesome to deal with

PBT? It absorbs moisture, like a cookie opened—it doesn't look bad, but its properties have quietly changed, and it can't be dried. Flame-retardant, fiberglass-reinforced, and ordinary injection-molded grades look pretty similar, but outsiders can't tell them apart. Mixed in one bag, the wholesaler immediately knows you don't understand and will cut your ankle with their mouth. Plus, there are many batches of PBT, and B4520 and B4406G4 differ in fiberglass content, so the price difference can be several points. If you can't tell the difference, you can only be at the mercy of others. Stored in warehouses with monthly rent and capital tied up, the longer it goes, the yellower the bag opening, and the softer the price.

Good material can turn into scrap after being stored for too long—this isn't mysticism, it's physics.

Now, let's talk about collecting scrap. You make a round call, and when the other party hears PBT, they politely say, "We make a lot of this material," then compares the prices and finds everyone seems to have agreed — there's no need for any communication between wholesalers; everyone knows the factory owner is eager to clear out the stock. He picks out better bags, and a slightly damp one says, "This material oxidizes, so it's only a substandard price," and will add some tricks when weighing. To put it bluntly, he's not helping you deal with scrap, but using your good materials to compensate for his own inferior materials, and the price difference is so much he's left speechless. Some factory owners get pushed down on prices and then have to thank others for "helping." Just taste that experience.

The high price on the phone and the high price you get are never the same price.

Colon New Materials does end-use digestion-type recycling, and accepting PBT and other mainstream goods is actually smoother. We have long-term clients who make connectors, home appliances, and modified substrates. Popular grades can be picked up and sold the same day, without burdening our own warehouse or taking up space in your warehouse. When encountering unpopular batches, mixed batches, or slightly moisture-absorbing items, we don't pick them—we bring them back to the factory and use our own modified formulas according to the ratio, ensuring no discrimination by grade or batch. Pricing is based on grade, glass fiber content, and flame retardant grade, with clear pricing—not a one-size-fits-all approach like regular goods. We have our own production capacity and fixed customers to support us, so our quotes are stable and don't fluctuate with market trends.

In the recycling industry, stable prices are more important than high prices—you've seen plenty of people give an extra 200 today, only to run away tomorrow.

Five-step cooperation process: material submission, grading evaluation, on-site pickup, deduction of payment, settlement and invoice. Send us the PBT grade, quantity, packaging, and photos, and we will grade and quote based on the physical item. Once negotiations are reached, we will come to the door to deliver the goods. The key point is that the recycled materials can directly offset your future payment for new materials—we have our own KONICE modified plastics series for engineering plastics. Yueqing Lao Chen's 32 tons, after appraisal, were discounted to a real price, directly offsetting about half of the payment for KONICE modified substrates in the second half of the year. Two warehouse compartments were freed up, and funds were instantly transferred.

Turning dead materials into new materials is called turning over.

We are very familiar with recyclable PBT grades. BASF Ultradur B4520, Ultradur B4406G4, Celanese Crastin S600F10, Celanex 2300 GV1/20, Crastin FR684NH1, Toraycon 1101G-30, 1401X31, 1184G-A15, SABIC Valox 357, Valox 420, Changchun LONGLITE 1100-211, 1100-630S, 1100-211M—these mainstream grades are within the regular receiving range; Other grades welcome feedback; physical appraisal will prevail. Recyclable forms include obsolete raw material (complete and bulk packages are acceptable), sprue and gate materials, edge scrap and machine head material, connector scrap and defective products, as well as inventory scraps; Halogen-free flame-retardant grade and glass fiber reinforced grade should be classified separately as much as possible for higher appraised prices.

Three pitfall reminders. "Can PBT still be used after drying after moisture exposure?" The truth is moisture absorption and degradation are irreversible, and even after baking, you still can't produce qualified parts. "Whoever offers the highest price sells to whom?" The truth is, you get the scale, nitpick faults, and delay payment—compared to three companies, you're still losing money. "Is selling a whole truck easier to sell?" The truth is, mixing materials leads to price reduction; grading and classification is the right path.

Compliance: Proper recycling and disposal, complete weighing and recycling forms, traceable flow, cooperating with environmental audits and ISO audits, never going to illegal small workshops
