Old Zhou runs a small modified factory in Beilun that makes mirror-colored shells. Last month, when a client said, "This project is being cut," the batch of Ixef raw material in the warehouse went from "waiting for the machine" to "sleeping soundly." Eighteen tons of material were pressed on three wooden pallets, the bag openings were already a bit dark, and the ledger still showed a few hundred thousand yuan in payments. When the forklift driver asked when he would use this material, he squatted at the weighbridge door smoking and after a long moment squeezed out a sentence: "What the hell could I use?" "

This is the heartbreaking scene of PARA's stagnant materials—the order is broken, the formula has changed, the client has changed the system, the material is still there, and the money is still there."

Stagnant material is not an asset, it's a liability lying on the account.

PARA this product has high unit prices, precise batches, and limited uses, mainly targeting high-end scenarios like plastic replacing metal with high-gloss shells. After absorbing moisture, its physical properties lose quickly, just like dry goods regaining moisture—you think it'll be usable after sun-drying, but the molecular chains have already been dampened, and the finished parts wear out with a single rub. The longer you sit there, the more damaged the packaging; once the label fades, you can't even tell which grade it is. What's worse is the niche material. There are very few people who can handle the second-hand market. If you call around and ask around, the quotes are more and more like jokes than the last.

Time is not a friend of PARA, it's its depreciation schedule.

More realistic is the warehouse account. PARA has high unit prices, and a pallet of material is stored in a warehouse. Just the capital tied up plus rent alone adds up to tens of thousands a month; When the bag openings turn yellow and the labels fall off, you can't even tell if it's 1022 or 1023, and even valuing it is a struggle—you can only watch it depreciate.

Now, let's talk about the people who collect scrap. When you call, they hear it's PARA, pretend to know a lot, and say, "This material is just average now, I'll ask the next seller for you." After asking, they quote a price, and if they cut it in half compared to your expected price, they'll take it in a roundabout way—if it's a better bag, they'll pick it up and charge it as defective; if it's a bit damp, they'll just say, "I can't accept this material." The wholesaler's calculations are even more sophisticated than your accountant's; essentially, they're not here to help you deal with scrap, they're here to pick up your waste. Some vendors' quotations are like weather forecasts—they call out the phone high, pick at the door, and then cut them down when you get it—just think about it.

You think you're selling scrap, but you're actually being treated like scrap.

Kelong New Materials does end-use digestion recycling, but they actually handle unconventional materials like PARA. We've long used Ixef for mirror shells and modified metal parts with plastic. Popular batches are picked up and sold out the same day, without taking up your space or squeezing our own warehouse. If we encounter off-label grades, mixed batches, or slightly damp items, we don't refuse them. We bring them back to the factory and bring them to our own modified formulas in proportional proportions, slowly digesting them, ensuring no selection by grade or batch. For pricing, we grade by grade, fiberglass content, and physical properties, with clear pricing—not the "fixed price based on mood" approach of wholesalers. With our own production capacity and fixed customers backing us, our quotes are stable—no matter how many things change one week and the next.

Good materials aren't afraid of not being picked up; what's worrisome is selling good materials as waste.

The cooperation process consists of five steps: material reporting, grading and evaluation, on-site pickup, deduction of payment, settlement and invoicing. You send us the PARA grade, quantity, packaging, and photos, and we rate based on the physical product; Once we reached an agreement, we picked up the goods at our doorstep. The recycling payment isn't just a cash sum—it can directly offset your future purchase of new materials. For engineering plastics, we have our own KONICE modified plastic series. Later, Old Zhou from Beilun quoted us eighteen tons of obsolete material, appraised it, and gave it a reasonable price, directly offsetting nearly half of the payment for his KONICE modified material for the second half of the year—basically dead money in the warehouse, and the next day it was back on the production line.

The essence of recycling isn't selling scrap, but turning dead money into working money.

We're very familiar with recyclable PARA grades. Syensqo (formerly Solvay) Ixef 1022, Ixef 1002, Ixef 1023, and other widely circulated grades are regular recipients; Other brands and other formulas of PARA or modified PARA are also welcome to submit feedback, subject to physical appraisal. Recyclable forms include obsolete original packaging (whole or loose packs are fine), sprue and gate materials, offcuts and machine head materials, mirror parts scrap and defective products, as well as leftover inventory scraps from the project's end. As long as labeling is clear and the composition is simple, they can be negotiated.

Add three common misconceptions. Some say "just leave it and wait for prices to rise before selling," but the truth is that PARA only depreciates and becomes less valuable after absorbing moisture and darkening. Some say "whoever offers the highest price sells to whom," but the truth is that the seller on the phone who overpriced and then cut the scale makes the price even worse than the other three. Others say "mixing to save the whole truck," but the truth is that mixing materials gets undervalued, and only by grade and category can they be sold at a higher price.

Compliance is unambiguous: Proper recycling and disposal, complete verification of weighing and recycling forms, traceable material flow, can cooperate with clients through environmental audits and ISO system audits, and absolutely does not end up with illegal small workshops
