Last month, a batch of medical device projects wrapped up, and the client replaced PAR polyarylate material with other companies' transparent materials, leaving only three bags of U-polymer in the warehouse. The entire pallet was stacked on the shelves, with outer boxes labeled "transparent, high heat resistant." The particles inside the bags were clear and translucent, but the project was canceled. This material had been sitting in the corner for nearly half a year.

PAR handling? They are transparent, heat-resistant, creep-resistant, and excellent for making transparent high-temperature resistant parts. But transparent materials are delicate; after long storage, they absorb moisture and oxidize, turning yellow and foggy. Like transparent glass cups that leave water stains that can be wiped off but their light transmittance never returns. If yellowed, they are used for medical or transparent parts and fail to qualify.

Plus, its circle is very small, with grades concentrated on U-polymer. Ordinary recyclers can't tell if it's U-100 pure resin or UG-100-30 glass fiber reinforced. They buy a truckload of materials as transparent mixed materials, and your small polyarylate premium is all simmered in one spoon.

Niche, transparent is afraid of yellowing, and afraid of being confused with PAR—these are the three labels that PAR can't shake off as obsolete materials.

You call the scrap collector, but they pick up a transparent pellet and say, "Oh, transparent plastic," and open their mouths to quote as transparent mixed materials. They have no idea it's polyaryl PAR.

Some dealers are even more ruthless, first making transparent materials worthless, saying "yellowed transparent materials are unwanted by nobody," then sell them to precision parts factories, multiplying the price by several times. Just look at it, what they make is money you don't understand.

To put it bluntly, niche materials aren't waste in their hands—they're tools for monetizing information gaps.

Wholesalers aren't helping you handle niche materials; they're gambling that you won't recognize their value.

After grading and receiving them, we connect directly without inventory pressure. For niche batches, bulk package residues, or slightly yellowed materials, we use Cologne's own modified formula and supply transparent heat-resistant modified materials downstream, regardless of grade or batch.

Pricing is based on grade, pure resin or fiberglass reinforcement, transparency, physical properties, and appearance. PAR is based on PAR's price, not confused with ordinary transparent materials. With modification capacity and customer backing, the pricing is stable, and they won't push hard just because the market is cold.

Niche materials aren't afraid of being unrecognized; what they fear is being sold by weight as ordinary transparent plastic.

We went door-to-door grading: one bag of pure resin was processed for high-transparency, heat-resistant precision parts to the client, one bag of reinforcement and bulk material was added to the modified formula, and the recovered payment was used to offset the next order of KONICE modified plastics. Old Meng said the warehouse suddenly cleared a row of shelves, and the cash held up was revived.

Turning dead materials into new material quotas is what revitalization means.

Recycling forms: obsolete original packaging (whole pallet/loose pack), sprue and gate materials, offcuts and machine head materials, defective parts, and inventory residues are all accepted. As long as labels are clear and not seriously contaminated, they are accepted. Transparent materials are especially sensitive to yellowing and oxidation, so it's best to seal them away from light and separate bags.
