很多做消费电子、穿戴的厂,不是不想用TPSiV,是被它的正牌价吓住了。中间这道缝,就是TPSiV副牌的位置。这篇讲清楚。
TPSiV是什么:骨架里掺了硅橡胶的TPE
TPSiV,热塑性硅橡胶,本质是硅基的热塑性弹性体。它和普通TPE不是一个物种:普通TPE骨架是苯乙烯或聚烯烃,TPSiV骨架里掺了硅橡胶,所以手感丝滑、耐温、耐候、耐老化,还生物相容。戴在身上不致敏、不发黏,阳光下不老化。
它干啥?智能手表表带、耳机耳塞、穿戴设备软触面、消费电子防护件、医疗软密封——凡是要“亲肤、丝滑、耐操”的地方,都是它。

瓦克的优势是一体化、批次稳。副牌料适合做对耐候有要求的消费电子软触件。挑它副牌,重点看硬度和热老化后手感。
迈图Momentive:表面手感处理的老手
第三家,美国迈图(Momentive)。迈图也是有机硅老牌,Silopren®系列在消费电子和汽车软触方向用得多。
它的特点是定制配方灵活、表面手感处理成熟。副牌料适合做对丝滑手感有要求的穿戴和防护件。选它副牌,试一下耐老化后的表面表现。
避坑:别拿苯乙烯TPE冒充硅基TPSiV
TPSiV副牌怎么挑?第一,先搞清它不是普通TPE。别拿苯乙烯TPE冒充硅基TPSiV,手感和耐温差着档。
第二,盯邵氏硬度。表带软度不对,戴几天就不舒服。第三,做热老化。穿戴件要经历夏天高温,老化后发硬发黏就是坑。

TPSiV: TPE
TPSiV with silicone rubber mixed into the frame , thermoplastic silicone rubber is essentially a silicone-based thermoplastic elastomer. It's not the same species as ordinary TPE: the typical TPE frame is made of styrene or polyolefins, while the TPSiV frame contains silicone rubber, so it feels silky to the touch, resists temperature, weather, aging, and is biocompatible. It doesn't cause allergies, doesn't feel sticky when worn, and doesn't age under sunlight.

If the same manufacturer and same grade are compiled, and any item in the factory inspection for hardness, temperature resistance, or feel doesn't fully meet the line, it's a secondary brand. There are four main sources: starting and stopping the stock and tail material, switching grades as transition material, process fluctuation batches, and secondary line scrap.
It's still a genuine factory blend, with a silicone-based framework consistent with the genuine brand, but with a slight fluctuation in certain indicators. Momentive: Experienced in surface feel treatment
Third company, Momentive USA. Momentive is also a long-established silicone brand, and the Silopren® series is widely used in consumer electronics and automotive soft touch applications.
Its features are flexible custom formulas and mature surface feel. Secondary brand materials are suitable for wearable and protective accessories that require a silky smooth feel. Choose this secondary brand and test its surface resistance after aging.
Avoid pitfalls: Don't use styrene TPE to pass off as silicon-based TPSiV
TPSiV How to choose a secondary brand? First, make sure it's not ordinary TPE. Don't pass styrene TPE as silicone-based TPSiV; the feel and temperature resistance are different.
Second, focus on Shaw hardness. If the strap is not soft, it will become uncomfortable after a few days. Third, do thermal aging. Wearable items must endure high summer temperatures, and after aging, they become hard and sticky—that's a pitfall.
Fourth, test skin affinity and surface quality. Wearable items that stick to the skin should not cause allergies or stickiness. Fifth, identify the manufacturer. Dow, Wacker, and Moment—these three sub-brands are original factory materials. Sixth, ask about large or small packaging. Small packaging samples to adjust hardness; large packages increase volume.
