Old Cao made new energy connectors in Yueqing. A batch of PPA high-temperature material was compressed in the warehouse because the customer changed the terminal specifications. This material was selected for the high voltage connector's temperature resistance and hydrolysis resistance, and the unit price wasn't cheap. The bags were marked with Amodel and Zytel HTN. The new specification switched to the PA9T system, and these seven tons of PPA instantly changed from "high-end specialty material" to "material no one accepts." The warehouse manager took a hygrometer to measure the warehouse and said, "Mr. Cao, this material has absorbed moisture, hasn't it?" The bag opening is soft. Old Cao pinched the corner of the bag; it was indeed a bit damp.

PPA This kind of high-temperature nylon is even more grueling than ordinary PA when it gets sluggish.

High-temperature material is really expensive when you buy it; when it gets damp, selling it is a real loss. Why is

PPA so hard to handle? It's semi-aromatic high-temperature nylon, specifically used for high-temperature connectors, SCRs, and plastic parts instead of metal parts, with much higher temperature resistance than ordinary PA. But precisely because it's high-temperature nylon, it absorbs moisture even more, like a sponge exposed to water—after a few days, its size changes, and it can't return to its original state even after baking. The fiberglass content is different—30%, 35%, 40% at different prices—but they grow almost identically in bags, so outsiders can't tell the difference. Wholesalers get them and first press you with regular PA, then use 'this material is absorbing moisture' and give a cut. If you can't tell the difference between Amodel and Zytel HTN, you'll just be at the mercy of others. Plus, PPA is expensive, and seven tons of material stored in a warehouse is a huge amount of money just to be spent.

The depreciation of high-temperature materials accelerates from the day they open and get damp.

Now let's talk about collecting scrap. You make a round of calls, and when the other party hears about PPA, they pretend to know a lot, saying, "We make a lot of this material," but after quoting, you immediately say it's ordinary PA. You've already memorized the tactics of wholesalers: they don't ask about your fiberglass content or test temperature resistance, just calculate as ordinary nylon—they know in their heart that PPA looks similar to PA66, so if you don't say anything, they assume it's PA66. Some are even worse: when the bag mouth smells a bit damp, they immediately say, "This material is hydrolyzed, so it can only be considered defective," and then cut it again. To put it bluntly, they're not actually receiving goods; they're just making money because you can't tell PPA from PA66.

You think you're selling high-temperature materials, but actually, people are paying for them as ordinary nylon.

Cologne New Materials handles end-use digestion recycling; we can handle PPA high-temperature nylon. We have customers who have long made high-temperature connectors and use plastic instead of metal parts. Popular batches can be sold the same day without inventory pressure. When we encounter fiberglass content unclear, mixed batches, or moisture absorption, we bring them back to the factory for grading based on temperature resistance and hydrolysis tests, then use our own modified formulas for proportional digestion, without picking brands or batches. Pricing is based on grade, glass fiber content, and temperature resistance grade, with clear pricing—not just ordinary PA with a one-size-fits-all approach. We have our own production capacity and fixed customers as a backup, with stable quotations that don't fluctuate wildly with market trends.

The price of high-temperature materials depends on the thermometer, not on the corner of the bag.

Five-step cooperation process: material submission, grading evaluation, on-site pickup, deduction of payment, settlement and invoice. Send us the PPA grade, quantity, packaging, humidity status, and photos. We grade and quote based on the actual product, and once agreed, we come to the door to pick up the goods. The recycling payment can be directly used to offset your subsequent purchase of new materials—for engineering plastics, we have our own KONICE modified plastic series. Yueqing Lao Cao's seven tons of PPA, after evaluating different fiberglass contents, priced separately, directly offset about half of the payment for his KONICE modified material for the second half of the year. The few bags with soft bag openings weren't treated differently.

Sell the damp high-temperature material at the high-temperature material price.

Recyclable PPA grades we are very familiar with. Syensqo Amodel A-1133, AS-4133 HS, AT-1116 HS; Celanese Zytel HTN 51G35, FR52G30, HTN501; EMS-GRIVORY Grivory HT1, Grivory HT; BASF Ultramid Advanced T1000, Ultramid T KR—these mainstream grades are all within the regular range; Other brands and PPAs with other glass fiber content are also welcome to submit materials, subject to physical appraisal. Recyclable forms include obsolete original packaging (complete or loose packages are acceptable), sprue and gate materials, connector scraps and machine head materials, terminal waste and defective products, as well as inventory scraps at the end of the project; High-temperature grade and glass fiber reinforced grade should be classified separately as much as possible, with higher appraised prices.

Three pitfalls to avoid. "PPA and PA66 at the same price?" The truth is that high-temperature materials have a premium; selling recklessly is the cause of losses. "Can it still be used after moisture exposure?" The truth is that after hydrolysis, physical properties inevitably decline. "Who sells at the highest price?" The truth is, sellers who can't distinguish PPA will only offer you ordinary nylon prices.

Compliance: Proper recycling and disposal, complete weighing and recycling forms, traceable flow, cooperation with environmental audits and ISO audits, never going to illegal small workshops
