Old Xu makes transparent lampshades in Jiaxing, with forty tons of raw PC material stored in the warehouse. Last month, a home appliance customer said, "Next year, the lampshades will be replaced with PP," and this batch of Makrolon-grade general-purpose material instantly went from a hot commodity to a "heavy dust collector." The bag openings were already a bit darkened, and the bags outside were sitting by the window, yellowed from the sun. The warehouse manager flipped through the ledger and said to him, "Mr. Xu, if this material keeps going, the transparent grade will turn into a tea-colored grade." Old Xu squatted by the pallet, silent for a long time.

PC Stale material is a common type of engineering plastic that is easily sold cheaply.

What's stored in the warehouse isn't the material, but the depreciation sheet you can't see. Why is

PC so exhausting to deal with? It absorbs moisture and UV rays, like white paper sitting by the window—at first it looks fine, but after a few months it turns yellow for you. The price difference between transparent, flame-retardant, and medical grades can be huge, but they grow almost identically inside the bag, so outsiders can't tell them apart. When the wholesaler gets it, they first price you at the transparent grade, then slash with the "This batch is yellow." If you can't tell if it's 2805 or 940 flame-retardant, you're left to be at the mercy of others. Plus, the unit price isn't low, and forty tons of material are stored in the warehouse, so the monthly capital usage alone is a significant amount.

PC yellowing isn't a small issue; it's the nature of the material that's giving you an ultimatum.

Another confused account: the price difference between transparent and flame-retardant grades is quite significant, but they grow in the bags in similar colors. After mixing, the wholesaler only counts the cheaper grade. You bought separately back then, but when selling, you get treated as the standard goods, and just this alone can make a difference of several points.

Now let's talk about the scrap collectors. You call around and quote lower than the last, and you still wonder, "Why did the market suddenly drop?"—not because the market is bad, but because they know you're anxious. You've long been used to the tactics of wholesalers: they quote you a high price over the phone to lure you in, then when you come to see the goods, they say, "This bag is broken," "That bag is yellowed," "This batch is colored," and they give you seven or eight reasons to cut you off by a dozen or twenty points, then weigh and scrape off dozens of kilograms. Some are even more ruthless: they take the goods away first, then a couple of days they tell you, "If the next supplier can't inspect, you have to bring them back yourself," and you still have to pay for the shipping. To put it bluntly, they're not actually receiving goods—they're using your materials to practice dragon-slaying skills, and after practicing, they even make you pay.

You think you're comparing prices, but you're actually competing to see who gets ripped off better.

Kelong New Materials does end-use recycling, and it's actually easier to handle mainstream PC and other mainstream goods. We have long-term customers who have modified, boards, lampshades, and appliances who receive popular grades and can leave the same day, so we don't hold back inventory. If we encounter unpopular batches, mixed batches, or slightly yellowed materials, we don't reject them. We bring them back to the factory according to transparent/flame-retardant grades and measured physical properties, then use our own modified formulas for proportional processing, regardless of brand or batch. Pricing is graded by grade, flame retardant rating, and appearance yellowing degree, with clear and direct pricing—not a fixed price for general goods. With our own production capacity and fixed customers as a backup, our quotes are stable and don't fluctuate with market trends.

PC'm not afraid of holding your goods for a while, but afraid of finding the wrong recipient.

Five-step cooperation process: material reporting, grading and evaluation, on-site pickup, deducting payment, settlement and invoicing. You send us the PC's grade, quantity, packaging, and photos, and we grade and quote based on the physical item. Once negotiations are reached, we come to the door to pick up the goods. The recovered payment can be directly used to offset your subsequent purchase of new materials—for engineering plastics, we have our own KONICE modified plastics series. Old Xu from Jiaxing's 40-ton lampshade PC was appraised and discounted to a real price, with transparent and flame-retardant grades priced separately, directly offsetting about half of his payment for KONICE modified material in the second half of the year. The few yellowed bags by the window weren't suppressed as defective products.

Turning yellowed material into new material quota is better than continuing to sun-dry it yellow.

We're very familiar with recyclable PC grades. Covestro Makrolon 2805, 2405, 2458; SABIC Lexan 121R, 141R, 940; Mitsubishi Iupilon S-2000UR, S3000 and NOVAREX; Teijin Panlite L-1250Y, L-1250; Rakuten Chemical PC-1100, SC-1100R—these mainstream grades fall within the regular range; Other grades welcome feedback; physical appraisal will prevail. Recyclable forms include obsolete original material (complete or loose packs are acceptable), sprue and gate materials, lampshade/transparent trim scraps and machine head scraps, lampshade scrap and defective products, as well as inventory scraps; Transparent grade and flame-retardant grade should be classified separately as much as possible for higher appraisal values.

Three pitfalls to avoid. "PC turns yellow and turns white with just a few washes?" The truth is, yellowing is irreversible and can't be restored. "Who quotes higher and sells to whom?" The truth is, if you get the scale, pick faults, delay payments, you're still losing compared to three companies. "Transparent flame-retardant mixed clothing?" The truth is, mixing materials leads to price reduction; grading is the right path.

Compliance: Proper recycling and disposal, complete weighing and recycling orders, traceable flow, cooperating with environmental audits and ISO audits, never going to illegal small workshops
