Old Cao makes SMT connectors in Hangzhou Bay, producing electronic connectors and automotive cooling system pistons. Last month, a 5G project wrapped up, and the client swapped PA6T material for another company's high-temperature material, leaving four bags of Arlen in the warehouse. The whole pallet was stacked in the corner, the outer box labeled "High Temperature Resistant, Reflow Soldering," and the granules inside had white fiberglass bands, but the project was canceled—the material sat on the pallet for two months.

Old Cao Expert Knowledge: PA6T is high-temperature nylon that can withstand the high temperatures of SMT reflow soldering. Making precision connectors is a necessity, and the unit price isn't low. But this material has a narrow processing window and strict moisture absorption requirements. After sitting in a regular warehouse for a long time, who would dare to casually test it?

High-temperature material storage isn't about the goods, but about your entire batch of high-value funds frozen. What's so hard about

PA6T handling? It's heat-resistant, dimensionally stable, and can withstand reflow soldering—it's indispensable for SMT connectors and automotive cooling system pistons. But it absorbs moisture quickly, and high-temperature material is more sensitive to moisture—like a thin biscuit that softens as soon as you open it—looks fine, but breaks when pressed. Once moisture gets in injection molding, bubbles and weld marks appear—who would dare use connectors as a precision part?

Plus, its grades are concentrated in Arlen, so ordinary recyclers can't accurately measure the glass fiber content or reflow soldering temperature resistance, so they can only buy as high-temperature nylon. All your premium on high-value, high-temperature material gets steamed up in one spoon.

High value, special design, and moisture aversion are the reasons why PA6T obsolete materials get cheaper the longer they delay.

You call the scrap collector, but they circle the pallet twice, saying, "Oh, high-temperature nylon," and immediately quote a unified price. They can't tell the difference between A315 and A335.

Some dealers are even more ruthless, first raising the price over the phone, saying, "I'll buy high-temperature materials downstream," but when the truck arrives, they change their story: "This material will lose performance too long, so I'll give you a bit." You've unloaded half the cargo, and after hauling it back, it's another trip fee—you just have to accept it.

To put it bluntly, they're betting that you don't understand the grade and are eager to make room.

The wholesaler isn't buying scrap, they're exploiting your information gap.

Cologne specializes in terminal digestion, specializing in this high-temperature nylon.

Arlen Popular grades like A3000, A315, A335 are long-term needs for customers and connector manufacturers involved in high-temperature modification. After grading and direct procurement, there is no inventory overload. For unpopular batches, domestic materials like gold fiber, bulk scraps, and unclear labels, we use Cologne's own modified formula, supplying heat-resistant and dimensionally stable modified materials downward, regardless of grade or batch.

Pricing is based on grade, glass fiber content, reflow soldering temperature resistance, physical properties, and appearance, with no one-size-fits-all pricing. With modification capacity and customer backing, the quotes are stable, and prices won't change every drop tomorrow.

High-temperature materials aren't afraid of being picked up; what's scary is that ignorants sell them cheaply as ordinary nylon.

Cooperation with recycled materials to exchange for new ones: you submit materials, we grade and evaluate them, large quantities come to the door, collection is deducted from new material payments, and invoicing is settled.

After so many years in business, one of the most common questions from bosses is, "How much is this material really worth?" Actually, the answer isn't complicated: materials with clear grades and good condition are more expensive than mixed and loaded materials; Starting the graded sale one day earlier means saving a month's rent and interest.

Let me tell a true story. A factory in Cixi that makes connectors has a project upgrade that pressed about 3 tons of PA6T, all of which are glass fiber reinforced grade. We went door-to-door grading: two good batches of high-temperature nylon connectors sent to customers, one batch of loose material for modified formulas, and the recycling payment was used to offset the next order of KONICE modified plastics. Old Cao said the warehouse suddenly emptied two rows of pallets, and the cash held back came back to life.

Turning dead material into new material quota is what revitalization really means.

To put it bluntly, your material takes two or three lots in others' hands, but here in Cologne, it can directly meet the supply needs of upstream and downstream customers. Those resale and weighing bargaining steps in the middle, the saved portion is all returned to your quotation.

Currently in circulation, we have been collecting year-round: Mitsui Chemicals Arlen A3000, Arlen A315, Arlen A335, Kingfa Technology Vicnyl PA6T, etc. Other PA6T grades such as Celanese and Sesoco, as well as domestic high-temperature nylon, are subject to physical appraisal.

Recycling forms: obsolete original packaging (whole tray/loose pack), sprue and gate materials, scrap material and machine head material, defective parts, and inventory scrap material are all accepted. As long as labeling is clear and not seriously contaminated, high-temperature materials are especially prone to moisture and clumping; sealing and segregating bags is even better.

"No one wants high-temperature nylon?" "The truth is connector factories are eager to buy it, but they don't buy from the scrap market.

"Waiting for the next batch of SMT orders?" "The truth is, moisture absorption is irreversible; orders don't have materials and aren't worth much."

"Who sells to whom at the highest price?" "The truth is, they first lure you in at a high price, then come to the factory to weigh and bargain, and when you get it, you often get it to the floor price."
