老陈在江北有个做汽车内饰件的车间,仪表板骨架、门板卡扣都出。上个月主机厂一声令下,内饰料从PA/ABS切回了普通ABS,仓库角落那六整袋合金原包料就没人管了。袋子还是新的,封条没拆,可订单没了,配方也改了,这批料从"生产原料"一夜变成了"库房摆设"。
老陈一开始不当回事,觉得放着呗,等下个内饰订单再说。可PA/ABS这料娇气,吸了潮,注塑就银纹、起皮,到时候再想拿出来用,得先烘、先试,试废的料又是钱。
呆滞料不是库存里压的货,是每月在收你利息和租金的负债。
PA/ABS处理的痛点在哪?它是尼龙和ABS的合金,两边的脾气都占了——既像PA那样爱吸潮,又像ABS那样怕热分解。吸潮这事儿就像海绵掉进水里,你看着颗粒好好的,烘之前谁也不知道里面吃进去多少水。
再加上合金料牌号专用,对应具体车厂内饰标准,通用回收商根本分不清你手里这袋是增韧级还是耐热级,更不敢接。一车料拉走,他按统货称个总重,你那点合金附加值全被抹平。
怕放、怕潮、怕被一刀切,是PA/ABS呆滞料的三座大山。
你喊收废料的来看货,对方蹲下来捏起一粒,对着光照照,嘴上说"行行行要",转身报价就是一个统货地板价。
有的统货商更绝:好袋整料挑走按他的渠道加价转卖,散包尾料说"污染了不收",让你自己再拉回去。一来一回,运费你出,人情你欠,好料还没卖上价。
说白了,他赚的不是处理费,是信息差——他赌你不懂牌号,也赌你急着腾仓库。
统货商不是在帮你清废料,是在拿你的好料贴补他的周转。
科隆做的是终端消化,不是站在中间倒手。

定价按牌号、物性、外观分级来,合金料按合金料的价走,不和杂料混为一谈。背后有自己的改性产能和一批长期客户托底,行情涨我们跟着涨,行情跌我们有渠道兜底,报价稳,不玩先报高再压秤那一套。
好料不怕没人收,怕的是你在不懂行的人面前,把合金当成了杂料。
合作走的是回收料换新料:你报料、我们分级评估、量大上门收货、回收款抵扣新料货款、结清开票。
做了这么多年,老板们问得较多的一句就是“我这料到底值多少”。其实答案不复杂:分得清牌号、保得住状态的料,比混着装车卖得贵;早一天分级出手,等于少亏一个月的租金和利息。
说个真事。海曙一家做仪表板骨架的厂,换配方压了大概4吨PA/ABS,老陈那种情况一模一样。我们上门分级,三整袋状态好的按合金走内饰客户,一批吸潮散料进改性配方,回收款直接抵了他下一单KONICE改性塑料的款,省下来的现金够他多备两个月的辅料。
把死料变新料的额度,这才叫真正盘活库存。
目前我们常年在收、流通量大的:BASF巴斯夫Terblend N系列里的NG-02EF等牌号。金发、SABIC等其他合金牌号及国产料,以实物评估为准。
回收形态:呆滞原包料、水口料浇口料、边角料机头料、不良品件、库存尾料都收,标识清楚、未严重污染即可。吸潮结块的也能谈,只是定级会低一些。
"合金料没人要?"真相是懂终端的回收商专门在收,不懂的才说不收。
"烘一烘还能用,先放着?"真相是吸潮不可逆,越放注塑越不稳,等到试废一批成品,亏的不止料钱。
"谁价高给谁?"真相是先报高价钓你、到厂压秤挑毛病的,到手往往压到地板价。
Old Chen has a workshop in Jiangbei that makes automotive interior parts, producing dashboard frames and door panel buckles. Last month, the OEM ordered that interior materials be switched from PA/ABS back to regular ABS, and no one cared about the six full bags of raw alloy materials in the warehouse corner. The bags were still new, the seals unopened, but the orders were gone and the formula changed. This batch of material went from "raw material for production" overnight to "warehouse decoration."
Old Chen didn't take it seriously at first, thinking it was better to just leave it and wait for the next interior order. But PA/ABS material is delicate; it absorbs moisture, and after injection molding, it has silver grain and peeling. When you want to use it later, you have to dry and test it first, and the scrapped parts cost money.
Obsolete material isn't just inventory piled up; it's a monthly debt of interest and rent collected from you. What are the pain points in handling
PA/ABS? It's an alloy of nylon and ABS, and both sides have their own tempers—like PA, it loves moisture absorption, and like ABS, it fears thermal decomposition. Moisture absorption is like a sponge falling into water: you look at the granules, but before drying, no one knows how much water has been absorbed.
Plus, alloy grades are specialized, corresponding to specific car manufacturer interior standards. General recyclers can't tell if the bag you have is tough or heat-resistant, and they don't dare to accept it. They take a whole truckload of scrap, weigh it by total weight, and your alloy added value is completely erased.
Fear of stocking, fear of moisture, and fear of being cut in one stroke are the three major mountains of PA/ABS obsolete materials.
You call the scrap collector to inspect the goods, they squat down, pinch a grain, hold it up to the light, say "Okay, okay, okay, take it," but then turn around and quote at a floor price for mixed goods.
Some wholesalers are even more ruthless: they pick up good bags of whole materials and resell them at a markup through their channels, then say "no accepted if contaminated" or "won't accept the loose scraps," and let you haul them back yourself. Back and forth, you pay the shipping costs, you owe the favors, and the good materials haven't even been sold at a high price.
To put it bluntly, what they earn isn't the processing fee, but the information gap—they bet you don't understand the grades and are eager to clear the warehouse.
Wholesalers aren't helping you clear out scrap; they're using your good materials to help them with turnover.
Cologne is focused on end-user digestion, not just reselling in the middle.
PA/ABS interior alloys are in demand for our downstream modification customers and automotive interior factories. Popular toughening and heat-resistant grades are collected and directly diverted without inventory pressure. Niche batches, unclear labels, or moisture-absorbing loose materials are processed into Cologne's own modified formulas, made into low-demand interior base materials and then downstream, regardless of grade or batch.
Pricing is based on grade, physical properties, and appearance; alloy materials are based on alloy price, not mixed with miscellaneous materials. Behind it are their own modified production capacity and a group of long-term customers backing them up. When the market rises, we follow them; when the market falls, we have channels to support them. Prices are stable, and we don't play the game—quoting high first, then weighing down.
Good materials aren't afraid of being bought by others; what's worrisome is that in front of people who don't understand the industry, you treat alloys as miscellaneous materials.
Cooperation is about recycling materials for new ones: you submit materials, we grade and evaluate them, large quantities come to pick up goods, buyback payments are deducted from new material payments, and invoices are settled.
After so many years, one of the most common questions from bosses is, "How much is this material really worth?" Actually, the answer isn't complicated: grades that are clearly distinguished and in good condition are more expensive than mixed and loaded parts; Selling in graded units one day earlier means losing a month's worth of rent and interest.
Let me tell a true story. Haishu made dashboard frames and changed the formula to press about 4 tons of PA/ABS. Old Chen's situation was exactly the same. We went door-to-door grading, sold three whole bags of good condition by alloy to interior customers, sent a batch of moisture-absorbing bulk material into modified formulas, and the recovered amount was directly offset by his next order of KONICE-modified plastics, saving enough cash to reserve auxiliary materials for two more months.
Turning dead materials into new materials is what true inventory revitalization means.
Currently, we regularly collect and circulate large quantities: NG-02EF grades from BASF's Terblend N series. Other alloy grades like Kingfa and SABIC, as well as domestic materials, are subject to physical appraisal.
Recycling form: Obsolete original materials, sprue and gate materials, offcuts and machine head materials, defective parts, and inventory scraps are all accepted, clearly labeled and not severely contaminated. Moisture-absorbing and clumping materials can also be negotiated, but the grading is a bit lower.
"No one wants alloy materials?" "The truth is that recyclers who understand the end end only accept them; those who don't know say no."
