说个真事。有个老板喊来统货商,对方捏起一块生胶掰了掰,说胶块发硬、预硫化了,直接按地板价收。统货商的算盘打得比你家会计还精——他收回去掺进低档油封里,耐温不够就加点补强剂补,做出来的圈跑半年就老化漏油,差价全进他口袋。你品品,他说的不能用,不是真没客户,是他自己手里没有密封件厂的下家。有些贩子更损,连氟含量都不测,Viton A和杂牌FKM混着装一袋。

说个实在的,FKM单价贵,压一吨在仓里就是压了十几万的现金。有些老板觉得生胶能放,可预硫化一旦发生,混炼都混不动。趁门尼还稳,找个有密封件终端的人接走,别等它自己报废。
临了唠两句避坑。回收就是贱卖?真相是分氟含量分级卖,好料能卖好价。贵料没人要?真相是找对终端客户,密封件和新能源厂都在找货源。谁出价高卖谁?真相是到手砍价、压秤、拖款的,价比三家还亏。

Fluororubber is only familiar to bosses who make O-rings, oil seals, and fuel system seals. It is resistant to high and low temperatures, oil and media, and is a hard currency in seals. The problem is its high unit price and sensitivity to storage environments. When the temperature rises, the compound slowly pre-vulcanizes and then burns after mixing; Fluorine content ranges from 66% to 70%, and price differences can reach tens of thousands per ton. What's even more troublesome is that FKM grades are specialized; Class A, B, and F correspond to different media, and sellers don't distinguish between them—each piece is treated like a piece and pressed together. Fluororubber, after being stored for a long time, is like old paint—still looks like the same can of paint, but can't be brushed with adhesion.
The essence of recycling isn't selling scrap, but turning dead money into working money.
Let me tell a real story. A boss called the wholesaler, who picked up a piece of raw glue and said the block had hardened and pre-vulcanized, and charged at floor price. The wholesaler's calculations were even more cunning than your accountant's—he took them back and mixed them into low-grade oil seals, added some reinforcement if the temperature resistance wasn't enough, and the finished rings aged and leaked oil after half a year, pocketing the price difference. Honestly, what he said doesn't work—it's not that he really has no customers, but that he doesn't have any sealing factories himself. Some vendors are even more ruthless, not even testing the fluoride content, mixing Viton A and generic FKM in one bag.
The wholesaler isn't helping you deal with scrap; they're using your good materials to make up for their inferior parts.

For high-circulation grades like Viton A-401C and DAI-EL G-671, we accept them that match the customer's formula and ship directly without inventory pressure. If the batch is slightly off, we can digest it into our own modified formula system, regardless of fluoride content or batch. Pricing is based on fluorine content, Mooney viscosity, and whether pre-vulcanized is graded, with one price per grade clearly stated on the recycling form. Good materials don't worry about not being picked up; what's worrisome is selling good materials as scrap.
On the day of the on-site evaluation, our technician brought a portable Mooney instrument and a rapid fluoride content test strip to measure Mooney on site to check for pre-vulcanization, recording Categories A, B, and F separately. You were present and weighed the goods; gross weight and net weight matched up. FKM unit price is high, so we create separate records. The crust material and new rubber blocks must be separated, and this rule is clearly explained in person.
A different approach is more cost-effective—exchange recycled materials for new materials. Five steps of process: first report materials, take photos, report the grade, net weight, and city; We conduct on-site graded evaluations and quote on the spot after testing; On-site weighing and receiving the goods; Recovery payments are directly deducted from your purchase of new materials from Cologne; Final settlement and invoice issuance. An old customer of a battery seal had about 1.5 tons of FKM stagnant raw rubber stored in the warehouse. By grading, they offset nearly half of the new material payment, saving about 30,000 yuan in cash flow. The new product brought back was the full range of QUANICE elastomers, which were directly renewed on the production line.
To put it bluntly, scrap isn't something you can't accept; it depends on how you handle it.
Regarding grades, we regularly recycle mainstream grades such as Chemours Viton A-401C, Viton B-910, Viton F, Daikin DAI-EL G-671, DAI-EL G-902, DAI-EL G-7000, Solvay Tecnoflon BR9151, Tecnoflon PFR, 3M Dyneon FE5830Q, Shandong Dongyue DS series FKM, and other mainstream grades; Other manufacturer grades are subject to physical appraisal. Recyclable forms include stagnant virgin rubber blocks (whole trays or bulk blocks), leftover materials before and after mixing, molded gate materials, scrap parts, and inventory scraps. Pre-vulcanized rubber blocks must be sampled separately; do not mix them with new glue.
To be honest, FKM is expensive, and storing a ton in warehouse means over a hundred thousand yuan in cash. Some bosses think raw rubber can be stored, but once pre-vulcanization happens, mixing won't work. While Moonny is still stable, find someone with a sealing terminal to take it away, don't wait for it to scrap itself.
