ABS/PA这东西,做汽车杯托、立柱、门板的老板才熟。它是ABS加尼龙的合金,刚韧平衡、耐化学,但天生怕吸潮,PA段一吸水,注塑的时候一加热就泛起银纹,尺寸也跟着飘。更麻烦的是合金料按车型定制,低气味、低光泽、玻纤增强各有各的料,贩子收料不分型号,一吨当一吨压。ABS/PA吸潮跟海绵泡水一样,烘都烘不干那个潮劲儿。你以为烘一烘还能用,其实PA段已经水解了一截。

说个真事。有个老板喊来统货商,对方捏起一粒合金料搓了搓,说出油了、气味大,直接按地板价收。统货商的算盘打得比你家会计还精——他收回去掺进低档家电件里,强度不够就加点填料补,做出来的件用一年就开裂,差价全进他口袋。你品品,他说的不能用,不是真没客户,是他自己手里没有汽车内饰厂的下家。有些贩子更损,连合金比例都不测,ABS/PA和纯ABS混着装一车。

说个实在的,ABS/PA合金料按车型定制,车型一换代库存就成包袱。可对改性厂来说,只要熔指和冲击对,照样能掺。关键是别让贩子按统货价一口吃了你的汽车级好料。

It's an ABS and nylon alloy, with balanced toughness and chemical resistance, but it's naturally sensitive to moisture. Once the PA section absorbs water, it shows silver lines when heated during injection molding, and the size flutters. What's even more troublesome is that alloy materials are customized by model—low odor, low gloss, fiberglass reinforcement—each has its own material. Dealers buy materials regardless of model—one ton is worth a ton. ABS/PA absorbs moisture like a sponge soaked in water—no matter how dry, it can't dry off that dampness. You might think it's usable after a bit of drying, but actually the PA section has already been partially hydrolyzed.
The essence of recycling isn't selling scrap, but turning dead money into working money.
Let me tell a true story. A boss called in a wholesaler, who picked up a grain of alloy and rubbed it, said it was oily and smelly, and immediately charged at floor price. The wholesaler's calculations were even more sophisticated than your accountant's—he took it back and mixed it into low-end home appliances, added some filler if strength wasn't enough, and the finished parts cracked after a year, pocketing the price difference. Think about it, what he said doesn't work. It's not that he really has no customers, but because he doesn't have any own car interior factories to deal with. Some dealers are even more ruthless, not even measuring alloy ratios, mixing ABS/PA and pure ABS into one truck.
Wholesalers aren't helping you deal with scrap; they're using your good materials to make up for their poor parts.

An old customer who makes door panel trim strips had about 5 tons of obsolete ABS/PA material stored in the warehouse. As for specific grades, we regularly recycle mainstream ABS/PA alloys such as Kingfa, Pret, Dawn, and Huitong; Other manufacturers like Techno-UMG and LANXESS use physical appraisal for grades. Recyclable forms include obsolete original packs (whole or loose packs), cup holder sprue materials, column gate materials, extrusion gate materials, pelletizer head materials, scrap parts, and inventory residues. Moisture-absorbing pellets should be dried and sampled separately; don't mix them with new pellets in the same bag.
To be honest, ABS/PA alloy materials are customized according to vehicle models, and inventory becomes a burden when a model is updated. But for modification factories, as long as the fusion finger and impact are paired, they can still be blended. The key is not to let the dealer take a bite of your automotive-grade premium material at the wholesale price.
