同样叫再生PPSU,黑色两万九,奶瓶透明粉碎料五万,一吨差两万一。摆在料袋上都印着再生PPSU四个字,买回去的东西根本不是一回事。
差在哪?等级。
做高端母婴件的、做可复用手术器械的、做耐高温电子连接器的,嘴上都说自己用的是再生PPSU,有人拿黑色一级料打外观不敏感的内部结构件,有人拿透明粉碎级去配下游对颜色有要求的高端件。
更有意思的是,这行的国标还没出PPSU专项。现行的GB/T 40006系列,最新只发到第.13部分聚苯醚PPE,PPSU这个品种公开渠道到现在连个分册影子都没有,只能去执行.1通则。
国标缺位,暗号就满天飞。分不清等级就下单,跟闭着眼睛扫货没区别。这篇把再生PPSU的分级江湖拆开揉碎,看完至少不会当韭菜。
先说清楚再生PPSU按什么规矩来。聚苯砜PPSU,原生牌号叫Radel,是聚砜家族里耐温与韧性双高的高端成员。国标这边,现行的GB/T 40006.1-2021《塑料 再生塑料 第1部分:通则》是它主要能挂靠的册子,术语、分类命名、技术要求、可追溯性这些框架性要求走通则,具体到PPSU这个牌号该收什么级、验什么指标,得靠供需双方企业标准和厂检。
那PPSU没专项分册,行业靠什么分级?说白了就是四把尺子:纯度品级、加工形态、改性方向、颜色。四把尺子量出来的等级,才是报价单上两万九和五万的差距来源。
还有一把量化的硬尺子,叫MFR。PPSU的熔体流动速率测试条件固定在365℃、5.0公斤砝码——这个温度比通用工程塑料高出一大截,因为PPSU本身就得这么高的温度才化得开。原生Radel R-5000的基准MFR大约是14到20克每十分钟;到了再生料这一步,市售样普遍往上走一截,链越短流得越快。你品你细品,MFR飘了,品级就跟着飘。
品级是进门头一道筛子
特级、一级、二级,是再生塑料通行的纯度分级,报价单上实际用的多是一级。
一级料来自工业水口料、电子厂干净的边角和流道冷料,成分单一、灰分低;二级料就杂了,混了各种回收壳子和异料,灰分高、料次多,性能跟着回退。
报价单上那串价格你得看懂:黑色再生PPSU报两万九,备注写的是一级——听着便宜,实际是说这批黑色料在回收过程里经过多次熔融,品级从特等掉到一级,但成分还算单一;那条奶瓶粉碎透明料卖五万的,才是高品级PIR——工业来源的水口料和边角料,单一牌号、清洁度高、可追溯,是透明再生PPSU的主来源。
为什么品级这么值钱?因为PPSU跟PES、PEI、PSU这些料外观颜色都差不多,回收时极易串料。这几样密度都在1.24到1.29之间,浮沉分选根本分不开,必须靠FTIR红外光谱一件一件鉴别。分选不干净,灰分上去了,强度和尺寸就跟着飘。你拿二级料去打要求批批一致的件,今天合格明天退货,客户退到你怀疑人生。
下单先问品级:一级还是二级,敢不敢附灰分检测。问清楚这一句,比砍价五百块管用得多。
改性方向决定身价
品级定了干不干净,真正把一吨料价格拉开的,是改性方向。
纯树脂是通用底子,打一般耐热透明结构件;往刚性走就上玻纤,GF20、GF30、GF40,对标原生Radel的增强系列;再往高走有导电抗静电级、加PTFE的耐磨级,还有专门给薄壁件用的高流动透明级。
这里有个容易被忽略的点:玻纤增强料回收后,破碎和多次挤出造粒过程中纤维受剪切会变短、长径比下降,增强效果逐次打折。要把刚性拉回目标区,得补纤——重新补入短玻纤,把纤维长度分布补回来。补多少、补得准不准,全看供应商对料源的控制力。报价单上那条两万九的黑色料,为什么比透明粉碎料便宜两万一?改性方向只是一个原因,品级和颜色才是大头。
宁波有家做医疗设备内部结构件的客户,之前从国内小作坊拼所谓一级再生PPSU,号称都是单一牌号水口料,结果每车料灰分从0.3%飘到1.2%,打出来的结构件装机后尺寸批间差拉到8%,客户验厂直接亮红灯,良率掉到七成二。后来走的是东南亚多国直采的固定料源——越南、泰国、马来西亚三个货源地的PIR水口料分开收,每车附FTIR鉴别报告和灰分检测,品级稳定在一级,灰分压在0.4%以下,良率拉到96%。
说白了,多国直采不是个营销词——料源固定了,每车料的牌号和灰分才不会像开盲盒。批次可控、品级稳定、牌号精准,这三个词落到量产线上,就是结构件不用反复调机、不用停线等料。
Radel牌号里藏着对标密码
报价单上除了品级和改性方向,还有一串代号你得看懂:R-5000、R-5100、R-5500、R-5800、R-5900。
这串数字,就是原生标杆Solvay Radel家族的暗号。R-5000是通用注塑级透明款,MFR基准14到20;R-5100对着色友好;R-5500是挤出级,做棒材和板材;R-5800和R-5900是高流动透明注塑级,充填薄壁件更顺。再生料行业里,大家按对标原牌号来命名——说“对标R-5000的再生PPSU”,行内人就知道是通用注塑透明级。
这背后还有段历史值得知道:Radel是Solvay旗下的聚砜品牌,近年Solvay把高性能塑料业务拆分成了Syensqo独立上市,这个牌子现在姓Syensqo了。另一家海外巨头是BASF,旗下Ultrason P系列——P3010、P2010——BASF内部用P代表PPSU、S代表PSU、E代表PESU,三兄弟别搞混。国产这边呢?金发科技PES/PPSU年产6000吨的装置已经全面投产,沃特股份在常州和深圳布了万吨级PSU/PPSU产能平台。国产树脂追上来是迟早的事,但再生料这条线,牌号对标仍然是行业通行语言。
真正要盯的,是你手里的再生料能不能把对标牌号该有的性能打出来,而不是袋子上印的是谁的名字。
加工形态和颜色是最后两道关
品级、改性、牌号都问清了,还剩两把尺子:加工形态和颜色。
加工形态上,再生PPSU九成以上是注塑级,挤出级量很少。你拿注塑级去硬挤厚壁棒材,料性根本不配合。
颜色这一关更直接。黑色是当仁不让的主力,两万九一吨——黑色遮盖力强、料源广,回收出来一大把是黑的,价格较低;未标注成色较好的造粒料报五万二,待核实;最贵的是奶瓶级透明粉碎料,五万一吨——PIR奶瓶水口和透明边角,本色琥珀透明,稀缺性溢价。
把MFR再强调一遍:14到20是原生Radel R-5000的基准区间,再生料普遍偏高。这个数字,是整张报价单上最不该被忽略的品质量化指标。透明本色级为什么最稀缺?因为本色料一旦走透明应用,对颜色要求极高,回收过程中颜色稍微深一点就没法走透明线,只能降级走黑色。
四个细分方向,一句话讲清
黑色一级:料源广、价格实在,做对外观无要求的耐热内部结构件、底座和骨架,两万九那一档。
透明粉碎一级:PIR奶瓶水口和透明边角,本色琥珀透明,做对颜色和透明度有要求的高端件,五万一吨。
未标色一级:成色较好、牌号较纯的造粒料,做中性配色的耐热件,五万二待核实。
玻纤增强级:回收后纤维变短、需补纤,刚性回退,打不挑冲击的增强结构件,别拿去扛主力。

Also called recycled PPSU, black 29,000 yuan, baby bottle transparent crushed material 50,000 yuan, a difference of 21,000 yuan per ton. The material bags all have the four words 'recycled PPSU' printed on them; the products you buy are completely different.
What's the difference? Grade.
Those making high-end maternal and infant parts, reusable surgical instruments, or high-temperature resistant electronic connectors all claim they use recycled PPSU. Some use black first-grade material for internal structural parts that are less sensitive to appearance, some use transparent crushed material to match high-end downstream parts with color requirements.
What's even more interesting is that the national standard in this industry hasn't even released a PPSU special yet. The current GB/T 40006 series only has the latest release up to Part 13 of Polyphenylene Ether PPE. The PPSU product has no visible distribution channels so far, so we can only follow the General Rule 1.
National standards are missing, and secret codes are everywhere. If you can't tell the grade, you place an order—it's no different from blindly buying goods. This article breaks down the grading world of recycled PPSU, so at least after reading it, you won't be taken advantage of.
First, clarify what rules recycled PPSU follows. Polyphenylsulfone PPSU, originally named Radel, is a high-end member of the polysulfone family, known for both high temperature resistance and toughness. On the national standard side, the current GB/T 40006.1-2021 "Plastics—Recycled Plastics Part 1: General Rules" is the main booklet it can rely on. Terminology, classification and naming, technical requirements, traceability—these framework requirements follow the general rules. The specific grade and inspection indicators for PPSU depend on the standards and factory inspections of both supplier and demand sides.
So PPSU doesn't have a special volume, so what does the industry classify? Simply put, it's four standards: purity grade, processing form, modification direction, and color. The grades measured by these four standards are the real source of the difference between 29,000 and 50,000 on the quotation.
There's also a hard quantitative measure called MFR. PPSU's melt flow rate test is fixed at 365°C and 5.0 kg weight—a temperature much higher than general engineering plastics, because PPSU itself requires such high temperatures to melt. The base MFR for the native Radel R-5000 is about 14 to 20 grams every ten minutes; At the recycled material stage, commercial samples generally move upward—the shorter the chain, the faster the flow. If you savor it carefully, if the MFR gets too high, the grade will flutter with it.
grade is a sieve at the door .
Premium, Grade 1, Grade 2 is the standard purity classification for recycled plastics, and the actual quotation usually uses Grade 1.
Grade 1 material comes from industrial sprue material, clean corners and channel cold material from electronics factories, with a single composition and low ash content; Grade 2 material is mixed, mixed with various recycled shells and foreign materials, with high ash content and many recycled materials, so performance declines accordingly.
You need to understand the price string on the quotation: Black recycled PPSU quoted at 29,000 RMB, with a note stating it was Grade 1—sounds cheap, but in reality, this batch of black material was melted multiple times during the recycling process, dropping from premium grade to grade 1, but the composition was still relatively simple; That bottle crushed transparent material sold for 50,000 RMB is the high-grade PIR—industrial sprue material and scraps, single grade, high cleanliness, traceable, and the main source of transparent recycled PPSU.
Why is the grade so valuable? Because PPSU looks and colors similar to PES, PEI, and PSU, and it's very easy to transfer material during recycling. These have densities between 1.24 and 1.29, so float and sink sorting can't be separated and must be identified one by one using FTIR infrared spectroscopy. If the sorting isn't clean, the ash content rises, and the strength and dimensions will fluctuate. If you take Grade 2 material to make a batch of matching parts, if it passes today and returns tomorrow, the customer returns it so much you doubt your life.
When ordering, ask about the grade first: Grade 1 or Grade 2, and do you dare to add an ash content test? Asking this clearly is much more effective than bargaining for 500 yuan.
Modification direction determines value .
Once the grade is set, whether it's clean is really what sets the price per ton of material apart is the modification direction.
Pure resin is a general-purpose base, used for general heat-resistant transparent structural components; For rigid products, use glass fiber: GF20, GF30, GF40, which is a reinforcement series targeting native Radel; Further up are conductive antistatic grades, wear-resistant grades with added PTFE, and high-flow transparent grades specifically for thin-walled parts.
There's an easily overlooked point here: after recycling glass fiber reinforcement, during crushing and multiple extrusion pelletizing, the fibers become shorter due to shear and the length-to-diameter ratio decreases, reducing the reinforcement effect step by step. To bring rigidity back to the target zone, fiber supplementation is needed—re-add short glass fibers to restore fiber length distribution. How much and how accurately to supplement depends entirely on the supplier's control over the material source. Why is the black material on the quote priced at 29,000 yuan cheaper than transparent crushed material? The modification direction is just one reason; grade and color are the main factors.
Ningbo, a client specializing in internal structural parts of medical equipment, previously assembled so-called Grade 1 recycled PPSU from a small domestic workshop, claiming to be single-grade sprue material. As a result, the ash content per batch floated from 0.3% to 1.2%, and the dimensional difference between batches after installation of the manufactured structural parts dropped to 8%. The client's factory inspection immediately triggered a red flag, dropping yield to 72%. Later, we adopted fixed sources directly sourced from multiple Southeast Asian countries—PIR sprue material from Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia was collected separately, with each truck accompanied by an FTIR identification report and ash content test. The grade stabilized at Grade 1, ash content kept below 0.4%, and yield rate reached 96%.
To put it bluntly, multi-country direct sourcing is not just a marketing buzzword—once the material source is fixed, the grade and ash content of each cart won't feel like opening a blind box. Batch controllability, stable grade, and precise grade—these three words apply to the mass production line: structural parts don't have to be repeatedly adjusted or stop for materials.
Radel grade hides the benchmark code
Besides grade and modification direction, the quotation sheet also has a string of codes you need to understand: R-5000, R-5100, R-5500, R-5800, R-5900.
This string of numbers is the code code for the native Solvay Radel family. R-5000 is a general-purpose injection-molded grade transparent model, with an MFR base of 14 to 20; R-5100 is color-friendly; R-5500 is extrusion grade, used for rods and sheets; R-5800 and R-5900 are high-flow transparent injection-molded grades, making it easier to fill thin-walled parts. In the recycled materials industry, people name their products according to the original grade—saying "recycled PPSU compared to R-5000," and insiders know it's the universal injection molding transparent grade.
There's another story worth knowing: Radel is Solvay's polysulfone brand. In recent years, Solvay spun off its high-performance plastics business into Syensqo and launched it independently, now bearing the Syensqo name. Another overseas giant is BASF, whose Ultrason P series—P3010 and P2010—BASF internally uses P for PPSU, S for PSU, and E for PESU. Don't confuse the three brothers. What about the domestic side? Kingfa Technology's PES/PPSU unit with an annual output of 6,000 tons has already been fully operational, and Wote has set up 10,000-ton PSU/PPSU capacity platforms in Changzhou and Shenzhen. It's only a matter of time before domestic resin catches up, but in the recycled material line, grade benchmarking remains the industry's standard language.
What you really need to focus on is whether the recycled material you have can deliver the performance expected of the benchmark grade, not whose name is printed on the bag.
Processing form and color are the last two hurdles
Grade level, modification, and grade have all been clarified, leaving only two measuring sticks: processing type and color.
In terms of processing form, over 90% recycled PPSU is injection molded grade, with very little extrusion grade. If you use injection molding grade to force-extrude thick-walled bars, the material quality simply doesn't cooperate.
Color is even more direct. Black is the undisputed main product, 29,000 per ton—black has strong coverage, wide material sources, and a large handful of black is recovered, priced lower; Granulation material without quality marking is quoted at 52,000 yuan, pending verification; The most expensive is bottle-grade transparent crushed material, 50,000 yuan per ton—PIR bottle sprue and transparent edges, natural amber transparent, scarcity premium
emphasizes MFR again: 14 to 20 is the baseline range for the original Radel R-5000, and recycled materials are generally higher. This number is the most important quality indicator that should not be overlooked on the entire quotation. Why is transparent natural color grade the rarest? Because once this pigment goes transparent, the color requirements are extremely high. During recycling, if the color is slightly darker, transparent lines cannot be used, so it can only be downgraded to black.
Four sub-directions, explained in one sentence
Black Level 1: wide material sources, reasonable price, making heat-resistant internal structural parts, bases, and frames without appearance requirements, around 29,000 RMB.
Transparent Crushing Grade 1: PIR bottle sprue and transparent edges, natural amber transparent, for high-end parts with color and transparency requirements, 50,000 RMB per ton.
Unmarked Color Grade 1: Good quality, pure grade pelletized material, used for neutral color-matched heat-resistant parts, 52,000 RMB to be verified.
Glass Fiber Reinforced Grade: After recycling, fibers become shorter and need repair, rigidity retreats, reinforced structural parts that resist impact, do not use them as main weapons.
Final note: Eight material selection tips
1. Ask national standards: PPSU has no special volumes, only follows GB/T 40006.1 general rules, medical waste sources are directly excluded;
2. Ask about MFR: Measured at 365°C and 5.0 kg, 14 to 20 is the native standard, and regeneration is generally higher;
3. Ask about grade: Grade 1 has a single composition and low ash; grade 2 off-materials have many performance degradations. Don't pay the price difference for grade 2 for grade 1 work;
4. Ask about modification: pure resin, glass fiber reinforced, conductive, wear-resistant, high flow and transparency, set the price by direction;
5. Ask about GF content: After recovery, fibers become shorter; ask clearly about the amount of fiber supplement and the measured percentage of glass fiber;
6. Grade inquiry: R-5000 universal injection-molded transparent, R-5100 coloring grade, R-5500 extrusion grade, R-5800/5900 high flow;
7. Ask about color: black is cheapest, unmarked color to be verified, baby bottle crushed transparent is the most expensive;
8. Ask about batch: Dare to attach ash content and FTIR identification reports for each car? If you don't dare to provide it, just avoid it.
Final note: The grade of recycled PPSU essentially refers to the purity grade, modification direction, Radel benchmark grade, and color, measured by four scales. The national standard hasn't established a special category for PPSU yet; this set of codes is the main grading language right now—if you don't learn it, you'll have to pay for others' tuition.
