可现实是,主机厂的防尘罩、密封件,一年比一年多用TPV。原因不复杂:能像塑料一样注塑成型、边角料能回收、免硫化一条线下来,成本和效率都摆在那。

TPV是热塑性动态硫化弹性体。说白了,就是在PP连续相里,把EPDM橡胶像变魔术一样动态硫化成细小颗粒分散进去。结果就是:它有橡胶的弹性,又有塑料的可注塑、可回收。汽车防尘罩、密封条、软管护套,都是它的活。
它和普通TPE不一样——TPE靠物理共混,TPV是真把橡胶硫化进去的,所以耐油、耐温、回弹都更像真橡胶。

TPV副牌,是同一厂、同一牌号里,硬度、压缩永久变形或耐温指标出厂检验小幅偏离的批次。EPDM/PP的交联结构和正牌一致,还是原厂原生粒子。
四条来源不变:开停车头尾料、牌号切换过渡料、工艺波动致单项超标的批次、副线尾料。

There's an unspoken hierarchy of disdain in the sealing industry: those in vulcanized rubber look down on TPV makers, thinking TPV is "rubber for plastic skin," with poor rebound and temperature resistance.
But in reality, OEMs use TPV more and more for dust covers and seals every year. The reason isn't complicated: it can be injection molded like plastic, scraps can be recycled, and sulfur-free is the same line—cost and efficiency are both in place.
The problem is TPV's secondary brands aren't shallow—compression permanent deformation, temperature resistance, hardness, and if it's lacking, dust covers collapse or crack after half a year. EPDM and PP are dynamically vulcanized in the mixer
TPV which is thermoplastic dynamically vulcanized elastomer. Simply put, EPDM rubber is dynamically vulcanized into fine particles in the continuous phase of PP, as if by magic, and disperses them inside. The result is: it has the elasticity of rubber and the plastic's injection molding and recyclability. Automotive dust covers, sealing strips, and hose sheaths are all part of it.
It's different from ordinary TPE—TPE relies on physical blending, while TPV truly cures rubber in, so its oil resistance, temperature resistance, and resilience are more like real rubber.
Global TPV landscape, stable leading position: ExxonMobil's Santoprene™ has led for years, with a market share of about 20%; Japan's Mitsui Chemicals ranks second; America's Teknor Apex's Sarlink® is a well-established TPV brand. Japan's Ruiwong is in the second tier. All three are Chinese mainland.
The secondary brand is the same batch of dynamic vulcanized material, but the test report has a certain fluctuating
TPV secondary brand, which is a batch from the same factory and grade, with slight deviations in hardness, compression permanent deformation, or temperature resistance indicators during factory inspection. The cross-linked structure of EPDM/PP is consistent with the genuine brand, still original original particles.
Four sources remain unchanged: starting and stopping the starting and tail materials, grade switching transition materials, batch with process fluctuations causing individual exceedances, and secondary line tail material.
Boundaries must be clear: genuine products meet all indicators; Secondary brands have slight fluctuations in individual items; Re-feeding involves re-pelletizing the sealing edges and corners, which have been overheated and have reduced elasticity; Recycled material fluctuates greatly. TPV dust covers worry about permanent compression deformation and drifting—this is a poor aspect; after half a year of pressing, the cover won't rebound, and the cover will collapse on the driveshaft.

First item, compression permanent deformation must be tested. This is the core indicator of TPV; secondary brands tend to float. Do a set of compression permanent deformation tests at the factory; if they fail, don't use the machine.
Another point: hardness matches the numbers. Dust covers have Shore hardness requirements; if the secondary brand hardness is off, it will be loose or too tight when installed.

Six key rules, automotive seal factory follows
1. Near the engine compartment, it must be heat-resistant—use genuine or high-grade
2. Chassis dust cover, general seals— The factory sub-brand can be listed
