避坑要点:一、分工况,医药级、高纯级、强氧化工况用正牌,一般酸碱设备再谈副牌;二、看粉末粒径和熔指这两项,静电喷涂对粒径很敏感,偏了喷不均;三、认准Halar体系的货源,零散小厂的“ECTFE副牌”别碰;四、批次留样,衬里是几十上百平米的工程,别混投色差。包装照旧,认化验单不认袋。

Being able to withstand strong acid doesn't necessarily mean it's an iron container.
ECTFE is a copolymer of ethylene and chlorotrifluoroethylene. Its secondary grades are produced in small quantities, with common variations in melt index and color. For factories making rods, sheets, or general corrosion-resistant structural parts, using these secondary grades for trial materials is favorable, offering a friendly processing window and moderate cost. Second Tier: 3M, Chemours, and Arkema
3M, Chemours, and Arkema do not have large volumes of ECTFE, mostly offering grades that complement their own fluoropolymer systems. Their secondary grades are even less available and more fragmented, so the supply is not as organized as Halar's. When dealing with such materials, it is essential to verify exactly which company and which grade it is; don’t place an order just because someone says 'imported ECTFE secondary grade'—with corrosion protection, if something goes wrong, it affects the entire piece of equipment.

Separate working conditions: for pharmaceutical-grade, high-purity, and strong oxidizing conditions, use the official brand; for general acid and alkali equipment, you can consider secondary brands. 2. Pay attention to powder particle size and melt index, as electrostatic spraying is very sensitive to particle size; if off, spraying will be uneven. 3. Make sure to source Halar system products; don't touch secondary brands of ECTFE from small scattered factories. 4.
