Old Zheng's factory is in Changzhou, specializing in automotive electronic connectors and new energy high-voltage components. When the previous generation switched automotive-grade materials, he stored nearly ten tons of Fortron and Ryton in the warehouse, stacked in the corner of the temperature-controlled warehouse, even changing two wooden pallets. This batch of materials was not cheap, holding for half a year cost tens of thousands in pressure; Even more troublesome were PPS brittle and fiberglass, mixing batches with material properties dropped sharply, making it impossible for ordinary warehouses to distinguish. Warehouse managers always avoided inventory checks, afraid of breaking labels and making it hard to explain. With this inventory on the books, finance urged him every month to make up for price drops, and the more he pressed, the more frustrated he became.
The more expensive the material was being held, the more it felt like putting a shackle on himself.
PPS this material, nicknamed "stainless steel in plastic," is heat-resistant, chemical-resistant, and brittle. It's like crispy dough—hard when unbroken, but if it gets damp or dries, it doesn't work well, and the injection molding results in small cracks and fine lines. The grade of fiberglass is layered, and the sprue material and the original packaging material have much worse properties, so selling them mixed leads to price reduction. Plus, the market is narrow—downstream is only automotive electronics and new energy. Ordinary recyclers don't even know where to deliver them, so they have to keep you at a low price. Plus, PPS has a high unit price—half a month of holding back means tens of thousands in interest, plus storage rent, and the longer you delay, the more painful it becomes. Rare and precious materials—if you pick the wrong supplier, they're sold cheaply.
You call a wholesaler, and he can put on a "I'm doing this for your own good" for you. He mixes Fortron and Ryton on the scale, says, "It's all PPS anyway," then sells high-quality high-fill materials as regular PPS, pocketing the price difference. Weighing the scale, nitpicking, saying your material is dirty and you need to deduct impurities—these tricks, if you think about them, they're all aimed at you to clear out your warehouse. By the time you realize you've shorted two tons of wooden frames, the person has already left. Every factory owner has experienced this kind of play once or twice; the only difference is whether you paid the tuition fee or not.
Dealers have never cared about how much your material is worth, but how much they can scrape away from you.
Cologne makes PPS products. We have downstream customers in automotive electronics and relays who have been buying this material for a long time. Grades like Celanese Fortron and Solvay Ryton are distributed the same day without inventory pressure. Niche batches and downgraded materials are processed with their own modified formulas, regardless of grade or batch. Pricing is graded item by grade, fiberglass content, and flame retardant rating, with clear and precise pricing. With our own production capacity and customers as a backup, we don't bargain at the last minute during market fluctuations—whatever we quote, that's what we offer. PPS is expensive, so we dare not act recklessly. Whether it's 1140L4 or R-7, we test it on the machine before grading, not using ordinary material to fool you.
To catch precious and niche materials, you need real channels.
Five steps for material replacement: material submission→ graded evaluation→ on-site pickup→ deduct payment→ settle and issue invoices. Old Zheng's ten tons of PPS were evaluated and converted to KONICE's modified plastic new material quota, which just offset the next batch of new connector material procurement payments, instantly reviving the previously occupied funds. With such a clear accounting, who would want to keep good material in a warehouse and let it rot? A certain connector factory followed the same process last month: weighed on the same day, payment paid on the same day, no delay for a day. Mixing fiberglass and pure resin with a pile is fine; we divide them on-site, leaving the next store to the next store, and the formula going to the formula for the right place.
Qing Langzi isn't about spending money, it's about redeeming the dead money on the account.
Grade Clarification: Celanese Fortron 1140L4, Fortron 1130L4, Fortron 1140L6, Syensqo Solvay Ryton R-4, Ryton R-7, Ryton R-10, Zhejiang Xinhecheng self-produced PPS are all within the standard recycling range; Other grades such as DIC FZ series and Toray Torelina are subject to physical appraisal. Recyclable forms include obsolete original packaging, sprue gate material, fiberglass scrap, defective connector parts, and stock scraps. We evaluate fiber-added, pure resin, and flame retardant grades separately and do not mix or press them.
Avoid pitfalls and speak directly. First, "PPS all at the same price"—the truth is that the glass fiber content and flame-retardant grade differ by a certain margin. Second, "If it's brittle, it's useless"—the truth is, downgraded materials can still be used in modified formulas, not waste plastic. Third, "Sell it to a nearby vendor to save trouble"—the truth is, the price of convenience is often losing more. Calculate the long-term account, don't worry about the price difference right now.
ComplianceDoesn't Slack Off: Proper disposal qualifications are complete, weighbridge and recycling forms are complete, the flow can be traced, and you can pass environmental audits and ISO audits, so you don't end up in illegal small workshops. If you have PPS stagnant material or connector sprue material, state the category, grade, quantity, and city. For large volumes, we'll come and quote on the same day. Quote the price first and compare the price—don't lose out. If you like the top spot, you'll get a PPS inventory grading self-check form. Make sure you know and don't lose out, so quote the price first. This batch of material is held for a day and earns interest, so the early it gets easier
