Old Chen's factory makes automotive exterior parts, and the batch of bumper base material uses PPO/PA alloy. The OEM changed the coating process, and the online coating line stopped immediately. Over eight tons of Noryl GTX sealed and packed next to the finished goods warehouse, not exposed to sunlight, but the corners were damp, and the bottom of the packaging bags had already formed a ring of watermarks. The young buyer had originally prepared two tons extra to make up for the whole order, but now he doesn't even answer Old Chen's calls. Old Chen squats by the pallet, smoking, calculating that if this batch of material is pressed down, next month's salary will be shifted. When the wind blows, the packaging bags rustle loudly, as if urging him.
With the recipe change, the whole batch of good materials becomes inventory.
PPO/PA alloy is delicate at both ends: the PPO end fears moisture absorption, the PA end is also afraid of moisture. The two are water-sensitive together, like a sponge soaked in water, and after three days, the moisture content skyrockets. If you take it for injection molding, silver wire, bubbles, and warping all show up, and the customer returns a basket of defective products. Plus, this material is specifically fed to processes like "online electrostatic spraying," so the circle is narrow, and there are only a few downstream factories using it. Ordinary recyclers buy and can't find a buyer even if they resell it, so they can only lower the price. Not to mention this material is highly specialized; unless it's a factory specializing in automotive exterior or online painting, it simply doesn't use it. The circle is so narrow that you can't find a proper buyer even after several calls. The awkwardness of niche materials isn't that they're valuable, but that no one can handle them.
You have to be even more wary of those wholesalers on the market. They can't tell the difference between GTX810 and GTX910, insisting "PPO/PA are the same price," and weigh your high-quality spray-grade materials as ordinary alloys. What's worse is the scale pressing—when they see you're eager to clear out, they quote a high price to lure you onto the truck, then when weighing, the pallets, racks, and bags get all the moisture on you, then cut them off once you get them. A half-Buddha said: The profits of these people are all written under the scale you can't see. What's even more infuriating is that after they collect, they turn around and brag to your peers, saying, "I snagged a bargain on that batch of PPO/PA." Think about it, isn't that true?
What's anxious about you isn't the market, it's the people who just want to profit from the price difference.
Why can Cologne handle this material? Because downstream PPO/PA suppliers have targeted customers making automotive exterior and online coating parts. Popular grades can be bought and then left, no inventory pressure; Less popular batches and downgraded materials are directly processed into our own modified formulas. We price by grade, fiberglass content, and coating adaptability, with clear pricing and no one-size-fits-all pricing. We have our own production capacity and customers as a backup, so our quotes are stable and the market fluctuates without sudden changes. You quote a price, and we give you certainty—no back-hesitation every few days. This material is naturally narrow; whoever has a real buyer knows in their heart. We dare to buy because there are real customers lining up behind us.
Only those who can handle unpopular materials are true recycling.
The material replacement process follows the same five steps: material reporting → graded evaluation→ on-site pickup→ deducting payment→ settlement and invoicing. Old Chen's eight tons of PPO/PA alloy, after evaluation, converted to KONICE's modified plastic new material quota, just enough to offset next month's bumper material procurement and cash flow eased up. An exterior factory did the same last month, clearing out over half a year's worth of inventory at once, and the saved space was placed into new orders. They reported together with sprue material and defective parts, and we grade and estimate on site, so you don't have to sort everything yourself first.
Revitalizing dead money is the proper way to clear inventory.
As for grades, we have verified and named: SABIC Noryl GTX810, Noryl GTX910, Noryl GTX964, Nantong Xingchen LXN040, all within the regular recycling range; Other PPO/PA alloy grades such as Asahi Kasei, Mitsubishi, and Kingfa are subject to physical appraisal. Recyclable forms include obsolete original pack material (whole tray/loose pack), sprue gate material, corner machine head material, poorly painted parts, and inventory scraps; if the package is damaged or damp, it will be accepted as usual. Different grades are quoted separately for more accurate pricing.
Avoid pitfalls and speak directly. First, "PPO/PA is niche and no one wants it," but the truth is that no one understands the trade, so it's niche—those who know compete for the brand. Second, "Leaving it is fine anyway," but the truth is that after absorbing moisture, its properties lose its properties and it depreciates more and more. Third, "Let the dealer clear it cheaply first," but the truth is that after clearing, you find good material sold at junk prices, and flattering is useless. Clearing out inventory is worse than not clearing at all.
Compliant, No Fake Goods: Proper disposal qualifications are complete, weighbridge and recycling forms are complete, flow can be traced, can pass environmental audits and ISO audits, and does not go to illegal small workshops. If you have obsolete PPO/PA or Shuikou materials, report the category, grade, quantity, and city to come over. Large quantities come to pick up goods and quote on the same day. Name your price first so you can be confident. If you like the post above, you'll get a PPO/PA inventory self-check checklist. Even if you don't make a move this time, first check the grade, quantity, and moisture condition of the batch in the warehouse to keep a clear plan
