ABS高胶粉说白了就是做ABS、给PVC和PC增韧用的橡胶粉,单价不低。问题在于它太娇气——粉状物料一旦吸潮,跟水泥受潮结块一个道理,外面看着是一袋粉,敲开里面是石头。物性上不去,改性配方里就不敢用。
更麻烦的是它身份特殊。它本身是中间体,不是终端件,你仓库里堆着它,既不能直接卖去注塑,又不能扔,扔了环保还不答应。放着,就是一块烫山芋。
粉料就怕受潮,一受潮就从原料变废料。
老王也找过收料的。来的人一听"高胶粉",头摇得跟拨浪鼓似的——这玩意儿他转手都找不到下家。好不容易来个愿意看的,报价低得离谱,理由还头头是道:"你这粉结块了、受潮了,我拉回去还得重新烘干加工,人工费不要钱啊?"
说白了,统货商碰到小众料,头一个念头不是想办法消化,是先想怎么把价压到你心疼到不敢还价。他宁可让你不卖,也不想让你卖得舒服。
有些贩子对小众料的态度,跟饭馆老板看待边角料一样——能压就压,压不动就劝你扔了算了。

Powdered materials are even more challenging to handle than granular materials: moisture-absorbing and clumping, easily scattering, and ruined when mixed with other powders, while still occupying positions to firmly hold up capital.
Stagnant materials are not assets, but liabilities lying on the books.
ABS high rubber powder is basically used for making ABS and toughening PVC and PC, and the unit price is not low. The problem is that it is too delicate—once powdered materials absorb moisture, they are like cement that gets damp and clumps. It looks like a bag of powder on the outside, but inside is stone. If the physical properties don't improve, they dare not use it in modified formulas.

If you have it piled up in your warehouse, you can't sell it directly for injection molding or throw it away, and if you throw it away, the environment won't agree. Powder is afraid of moisture; once it does, it turns from raw material to waste.

To put it bluntly, when wholesalers encounter niche materials, their first thought isn't to figure out how to absorb them, but to figure out how to lower the price so much you feel reluctant to bargain. They'd rather not sell than let you sell comfortably.
Some traders treat niche materials like restaurant owners treat scraps—if they can squeeze scraps, they do; if not, they advise you to just throw them away.

Tell a true story. Last year, a factory in Ningbo that did toughening PVC profiles had about four or five tons of raw high-rubber powder material get damp and clumped, so downstream system replacement is no longer needed. This time, after grading and evaluation, the raw material is broken down by rubber content. Reusable materials are converted into modified formulas, while those that are truly clumped are discounted separately. The recycling fee is directly deducted from the next batch of KONICE modified plastic. The warehouse is freed up, and the batch without lumps is sold at a mid-to-high price. Old Wang, an experienced accountant, would immediately understand—it's much better than mold stuck in a corner.
Good materials aren't afraid of not being picked up; the real worry is selling good materials as waste.
