做透明玩具和游乐设施的老板,最近见面都在算同一笔账。

先把概念说透。K胶副牌,指的是同一厂家、同一牌号里,出厂检验没完全达到正牌技术指标的那一部分。分子链和正牌是同一批聚合出来的,只是个别指标——常见的是黄度指数、透光雾度、熔指——在出厂检验时差了一点点。
它有四大来源:装置开停车时的头尾料、牌号切换时的过渡料、工艺波动导致个别指标小幅超标的批次、副线尾料。注意,这仍是原厂原生粒子,不是废旧料再造粒。
这里要把边界划清楚:正牌全指标达标、批次稳;副牌个别指标小幅偏离、基材和正牌一致;回料是加工边角料再造粒,已经受过一次热历史;再生料是废旧塑料回收造粒,性能波动大。做透明玩具、游乐设施这种对黄变敏感的件,回料和再生料基本不能碰,副牌才是中间那档。
雪佛龙菲利普:K-Resin这个牌子,就是K胶的代名词
要说K胶,绕不开雪佛龙菲利普。K-Resin®这个商标就是它家起家的,行业里说K胶,很多人第一个想到的就是这个名字。它家代表牌号像KR03、KR05、以及1239B这一类,透明增韧、吹塑注塑都能做,食品接触级的口碑在玩具和包装圈里很稳。

中国台湾奇美实业在苯乙烯系里是绕不开的名字,它家K胶PB-5903这一类牌号,在国内市场流通量大、认知度高。奇美的料以稳定、好加工、性价比见长,做透明文具、玩具、日常透明件都很常见。
奇美副牌的优势是货源相对好找、价格分档清楚,精选副和普通副价差明确。做对黄变不那么敏感、产量又大的透明玩具和通用透明件,用它家副牌压成本,通常不会出大问题。

K the price per ton of genuine glue has risen even higher than last year. Transparent parts are originally low margins, and if you keep eating costs like this, the order will be handed over to the neighbor. But they don't dare to use recycled material—toys must be food-grade and resistant to yellowing. But here's the problem: the secondary brand isn't just cheap. K-glue's transparency relies on the delicate structure of butadiene blocks. Let's clarify the concept first. K-glue sub-brands refer to the portion of the same manufacturer and grade that haven't fully met the technical specifications of the genuine brand during factory inspection. The molecular chain and the genuine brand are produced in the same batch, with only a few indicators—commonly yellowness index, light haze, melting index—that differ slightly during factory inspection.
It has four main sources: head and tail material when the unit starts and stops, transition material during grade changes, batch and secondary line scrap material caused by process fluctuations causing slight exceedances in certain indicators. Note, these are still original factory granules, not recycled waste materials.
Here, the boundaries need to be clearly drawn: genuine products meet all indicators and batch stability; Secondary brands have slight deviations in some indicators, but the base material matches genuine brands; Reclaimed material is processed scrap material re-pelletized and has already undergone one a heat history; Recycled material is recycled plastic and pelletized, with large performance fluctuations. For transparent toys and amusement equipment sensitive to yellowing, recycled and recycled materials are basically avoided; secondary brands are the middle tier.

Their secondary brand has a solid mechanical foundation; even if some optical indicators are slightly lacking, impact resistance and processing fluidity remain. Suitable for transparent protective boards for amusement equipment or structural transparent parts for toys—scenarios where "transparency but even more durability" are needed. When choosing their secondary brand, focus on whether the melting fingers match your current process, not just transparency.
Chimei Industrial: PB-5903, a cost-effective Taiwanese transparent toughening contestant
Taiwan Chimei Industrial is an unavoidable name in the styrene category. Their K adhesive PB-5903 grade is widely circulated and well-known in the domestic market. Chimei's material is known for stability, easy processing, and cost-effectiveness, commonly used for transparent stationery, toys, and everyday transparent items.
Chimei's secondary brands have advantages such as relatively easy sourcing, clear price tiers, and a clear price difference between selected and regular secondary brands. For transparent toys and universal transparent parts that are less sensitive to yellowing and have high output, using their secondary brands to reduce costs usually won't cause major problems.
When choosing a secondary brand with K glue, first clarify these three things before placing an order
First, identify the manufacturer and brand. For secondary brands, avoid focusing only on the word "K glue"; you need to trace the specific manufacturer and grade. Only use the original sub-brands from Chevron Philips, INEOS Shanylling, and Chimei with clear origins.
Second, test three key indicators. Yellowness index, translucency haze, melting fingers—before buying, use a sample and apply a transparent film to see the effect—don't wait for the whole cabinet to be installed. If the toy has food contact, also check for compliance records.
Third, match the intended use. Make optical-grade, medical-grade, and high-transparency display pieces—honestly use the official brand; For inner parts, color-matched parts, or ordinary transparent toys, the secondary brand is where you can really use it. Putting the secondary label where it shouldn't be is like finding after-sales service for yourself.
