1 Overview
1.1 What is Recycled ABS
Recycled ABS (rABS, Recycled Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene Copolymer) is granulated material obtained by reprocessing ABS waste plastics through sorting, crushing, washing, melt filtration, granulation, and other procedures, primarily based on physical recycling. 4.2 Classification by Purpose
Melt Mass Flow Rate (MFR, 220℃/10kg) is the primary criterion for grading recycled ABS, directly determining the applicable molding processes and product range. Injection molding grade has high fluidity, suitable for thin-walled/complex components; extrusion grade has low fluidity, requiring high melt strength; electroplating grade has special requirements for the butadiene phase structure; high-gloss grade has strict limits on black spots and surface gloss.
