这段对话,差不多是汽车燃油系统件采购和工程师之间的日常。广西柳州有家做汽车燃油系统部件的厂,就卡在这段对话上——他们的一个燃油管接头,PA66磨不住、阻氧还差点意思,工程师一提POK,采购第一反应是"这料听都没听过,副牌敢用吗"。
POK(聚酮)小众,又近乎一家独大,坑自然也就集中在"认不认得出原厂原粒"这一件事上。今天把POK讲透。
POK是什么,谁在供
POK,学名聚酮(Polyketone),主链由一氧化碳和烯烃交替排列的半结晶脂肪族工程塑料。它的看家本事是抗冲击、耐磨、耐化学、耐燃油、阻气性好,还是环保料——不含甲醛、丙烯腈,食品医疗级能过FDA。汽车燃油系统、耐磨齿轮、水管理件、食品接触件都爱用它。
POK是近乎寡头的小众品类,全球主要国外玩家按实际梯队写:
晓星(Hyosung,韩国):POKETONE是它家招牌,全球首个把脂肪族聚酮商业化量产的厂家,蔚山龙岩(Yongyeon)工厂年产能五万吨,2015年起商业量产,在这个品类里基本是主导供应;
EMS-GRIVORY(瑞士):GRINYL K聚酮系列,基于专利技术做增强、阻燃品级,主打低排放与耐化学;
艾万提(Avient,美国):Edgetek PKE系列聚酮改性料,定位尼龙替代、低碳足迹。
早年壳牌、杜邦、Kuraray等在聚酮上有过技术布局,但真正把脂肪族聚酮大规模做起来的,目前就是晓星一家独大,剩下两家是补充与改性档。
副牌是什么,独苗料的边界
POK副牌的概念,还是那一套。
定义:同一厂家同一牌号里,出厂检验没完全踩中正牌指标的那部分。同一批聚合料,合格贴正牌,个别指标小幅浮动就是副牌。
四大来源:开停车头尾料、牌号切换过渡料、工艺波动致熔指/结晶度/某一项小幅超标的批次、副线尾料。
它仍是原厂原生聚合粒子,分子结构和正牌一致。和回料、再生料的边界:

晓星POKETONE:近乎独苗的主供
晓星POKETONE在脂肪族聚酮里基本是独苗主供,蔚山厂年产能五万吨,品级覆盖未增强、玻纤增强、阻燃、食品医疗级(F级过FDA、NSF、USP Class VI)。燃油系统接头、耐磨脚轮、水管理件用得最多。
它的副牌浮动项,常见是熔指和结晶速度,抗冲击、耐燃油的主干性能还在。做非承压的一般耐磨件、非燃油直触的结构件,这种副牌够用;做燃油系统承压、耐磨关键件,得用正牌或精选副。包装分大包装、小包装,按批量领。

这档副牌适合做对阻燃、低排放有要求的周边件。要做主流燃油系统件,还是晓星POKETONE渠道更稳、品级更全。

Avient Edgetek PKE:改性复配档
艾万提Edgetek PKE系列是聚酮改性料,定位尼龙替代、更低碳足迹,适合化学腐蚀、耐腐蚀工况。这一档是改性复配,不是原厂原生聚合,副牌来源更要盯紧,能做一般耐磨件,但燃油系统关键承压件别在这档赌。
对采购来说,POK真正靠谱的主供就是晓星POKETONE一家,其余两家是补充。
避坑:燃油件最怕什么
POK副牌做汽车燃油系统件,三个坑。
一、别把改性复配料当原厂原粒。POK主供是晓星,副牌也得是它家同一牌号的原厂原粒,改性复配料的耐燃油和批次稳不一定够。
二、耐磨和耐燃油按工况验。燃油直触、承压件要做浸泡和耐磨留样,熔指对上不等于工况过关。

It's a bit expensive, but this material is basically mass-produced by only one company in the world. For the sub-brand, you have to use the original manufacturer's original pieces; don't look for them randomly.
This conversation is pretty much a typical exchange between automotive fuel system parts procurement and engineers. There’s a factory in Liuzhou, Guangxi, that makes automotive fuel system components, and they get stuck at this point in the conversation—their fuel pipe connector, made of PA66, wears poorly and has mediocre oxygen barrier performance. When the engineer mentions POK, the procurement’s first reaction is, 'I’ve never even heard of this material, can we use a second-tier brand?'
POK (polyketone) is niche and almost monopolized, so the pitfalls are naturally concentrated on whether you can recognize the original manufacturer’s pellets. Today, let's thoroughly explain POK.
What is POK, and who is supplying it?
POK, scientifically known as Polyketone, is a semi-crystalline aliphatic engineering plastic with a main chain composed of alternating carbon monoxide and olefin. Its key features are impact resistance, wear resistance, chemical resistance, fuel resistance, good gas barrier properties, and it is environmentally friendly — free of formaldehyde and acrylonitrile, with food and medical-grade grades that can pass FDA standards. It is widely used in automotive fuel systems, wear-resistant gears, water management components, and food contact parts.
POK is a niche category that is almost oligopolistic, with the main global foreign players ranked by actual tier as follows:
Hyosung (Hyosung, South Korea): POKETONE is its flagship product, the world's first company to commercialize and mass-produce aliphatic polyketone. The Ulsan Yongyeon factory has an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons and has been in commercial production since 2015, basically dominating supply in this category;
EMS-GRIVORY (Switzerland): GRINYL K polyamide series, enhanced and flame-retardant grades based on patented technology, mainly featuring low emissions and chemical resistance;
Avient (USA): Edgetek PKE series of polyketone modified materials, positioned as a nylon alternative with a low carbon footprint.
In the early years, companies like Shell, DuPont, and Kuraray had technical layouts in polyketone, but the only one that has truly scaled up aliphatic polyketone on a large scale so far is Xiaoxing, dominating the field, while the other two play a supplementary and modification role.
What is a secondary card, the boundary of a sole seedling material
The concept of POK subsidiary brands is still the same set.
Definition: Within the same manufacturer and the same brand, the portion that does not fully meet the official brand's specifications during factory inspection. For the same batch of polymer, products that meet the standards are labeled with the official brand, while individual indicators that fluctuate slightly are considered sub-brand.
Four major sources: leftover material from starting and stopping production, transition material from grade switching, batches with slight exceedance of melt index/crystallinity/one parameter due to process fluctuations, and leftover material from secondary lines.

The Ulsan factory has an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons, covering grades from unreinforced, glass fiber reinforced, flame-retardant, to food and medical grades (F-grade approved by FDA, NSF, USP Class VI). It is most widely used in fuel system connectors, wear-resistant casters, and water management components.
Its secondary brand floating items are commonly melt index and crystallization speed, while the main trunk performance of impact resistance and fuel resistance remains. For non-pressure general wear-resistant parts and structural parts that do not directly contact fuel, this secondary brand is sufficient; for fuel system pressure-bearing, wear-critical parts, you need to use the primary brand or carefully selected secondary brand. Packaging is divided into large packages and small packages, distributed according to batch quantity.

EMS-GRIVORY GRINYL K: Swiss Supplementary File
The GRINYL K polyketone series from EMS-GRIVORY follows a patented technology route, offering unreinforced, reinforced, and flame-retardant grades, emphasizing low emissions, chemical resistance, and UL94 V0 flame retardancy. Its volume is not as large as Xiaoxing's, and it is positioned as a supplementary and differentiated product.
This sub-brand is suitable for peripheral parts that require flame retardancy and low emissions. For mainstream fuel system components, the Xiaoxing POKETONE channel is still more reliable and offers a more complete range of grades.
Applicable scenarios: flame-retardant peripheral components, low-emission parts.
Avient Edgetek PKE: Modified Blended Grade
The Edgetek PKE series from AiwanTi is a polyether ketone (PEK) modified material, positioned as a nylon replacement with a lower carbon footprint, suitable for chemically corrosive and corrosion-resistant conditions. This grade is a modified blend, not the original factory's virgin polymer, so you need to keep an eye on secondary brands. It can be used for general wear-resistant parts, but don't gamble with key pressure-bearing components in fuel systems with this grade.
For procurement, the only truly reliable main supplier of POK is Xiaoxing POKETONE, the other two are supplementary.
Pitfall to Avoid: What Fuel Components Fear the Most
POK subsidiary makes automotive fuel system parts, three pits.
1. Don't treat modified compounded materials as original factory pellets. The main supplier of POK is Xiaoxing, and the secondary brand must also use the same grade of original factory pellets from that company. The flame retardancy and batch stability of modified compounded materials may not be sufficient.
2. Abrasion resistance and fuel resistance should be tested according to working conditions. Fuel directly contacting and pressure-bearing parts need immersion and abrasion sampling tests. Melt index being up does not equal passing the working condition requirements.
3. Melt flow index and crystallization rate come first for the process. Secondary brands often fluctuate in these two aspects; adjust the injection molding process window steadily before mass production.
