1. Industry Contempt Chain: PFA Used in Semiconductor Piring—Who Dares to Touch the Secondary Label?
In the Fluoroplastics Contempt Chain, PFA stands at the top. It can melt process while retaining the chemical resistance and high-purity properties of PTFE. It's used for semiconductor tubing, high-purity linings, and high-end anti-corrosion parts. The underlying message among industry insiders is: PFA, this material, a secondary brand? Who would dare use it? If a high-purity pipeline fails, the entire batch of wafers could be affected.
But the reality is, domestic PFA has risen in recent years, with Dongyue, Juhua, and Zhonghao Morninglight all mass-producing it. Here's the question: Can domestic PFA secondary brands actually be used, and where can they be used? Today, I'm not taking sides—let's clarify this with real-world comparisons.
II. The Domestic PFA Leaders: Three leading companies already have volume
PFA, including fusible PTFE, high-purity semiconductor transport, ultra-pure linings, and high-end anti-corrosion fittings—their main battlegrounds. This category was previously dominated by foreign giants, but domestic breakthroughs have only happened in recent years.
Dongyue Group has a full industry chain layout, vertically integrating from monomers to PFA, and continues to expand production in the high-end product direction. Juhua has already launched a 10,000-ton PFA production line, with products certified by international semiconductor standards, breaking its long-standing reliance on imports. Zhonghao M&G, backed by the Haohua Technology system and relying on its own patents, has a high-end fluororesin line covering PFA. These three companies represent domestic PFA products moving from catch-up to mass production.
It should be noted that PFA is different from the previously discussed FEP and PTFE; its application scenarios are highly polarized: one side is semiconductor ultra-pure products, with extremely strict control over precipitates, metal ions, and particle size, almost only recognizing genuine brands; the other side is general industrial anti-corrosion, requiring chemical resistance and high temperatures but not semiconductor-grade purity. The breakthroughs of domestic PFA in recent years have mainly been maturing industrial-grade and partially semi-semiconductor-grade products, making fluoroplastics affordable for general industrial scenarios. Knowing which side you stand on is the prerequisite for judging whether PFA secondary brands can be used.
3. Boundaries of PFA secondary labels: Do not touch high-purity parts; only general parts are considered
PFA secondary brands also contain original particles from the same grade polymerization line; some factory inspection indicators do not meet the standards required for genuine brands. Common fluctuations in PFA are concentrated in purity, melt stability, and precipitate indicators, which are precisely the lifeline of high-purity semiconductor scenarios.
Boundaries must be drawn: For semiconductor ultrapure tubing and wafer-grade high-purity parts, genuine parts must be used, with no room for bargaining; For general industrial anti-corrosion linings, ordinary high-purity fittings, and color-matched parts, secondary labels can be considered if the indicators allow; Return material and sprue material have overlapping thermal histories, precipitates are uncontrollable, so no touching is allowed; Recycled materials come from diverse sources and are completely incompatible with PFA application scenarios. Whether PFA sub-brands can be used, first ask yourself: Are my parts high purity enough?
4. Dongyue Group: Full industry chain, high-end PFA continues to increase volume
Dongyue Group has complete fluorosilicon integration, with PFA being a key focus in its high-end product lineup, with orders growing in high-end sectors such as photovoltaics and aviation. Its advantage lies in vertical integration of the industry chain, from monomers to self-formulated PFA.
Sub-brand level: Dongyue's materials are suitable for general industrial anti-corrosion linings and ordinary pipe fittings, which require moderate purity but still chemical resistance. For semiconductor-grade high-purity wires, it's recommended to list them directly on the official brand rather than making room on the secondary label.
5. Juhua Co., Ltd.: Ten-thousand-ton level PFA production launched, semiconductor certification line
Juhua Co., Ltd.'s ten-thousand-ton PFA production line has already been put into operation, and its products have passed international semiconductor standard certifications, representing the high-end domestic PFA. Its PFA grades are clearly distinguished between semiconductor-grade and industrial-grade.
Juhua's sub-brand materials are characterized by standardized grades, with certification lines and industrial lines managed separately. For general industrial corrosion protection parts and ordinary pipe fittings, Juhua's industrial line sub-brand can be compared; For ultrapure semiconductor parts, recognize their certified official line.
6. Zhonghao Chenguang: Tech-oriented, with accumulated experience in high-end fluorine-containing resins
Zhonghao Chenguang is backed by Haohua Technology and relies on over sixty core patents, with high-end fluororesin lines covering the PFA direction. Its materials have technical expertise in high-end anti-corrosion and specialty linings.
At the sub-brand level, Zhonghao Chenguang's materials have a foundation in general anti-corrosion linings and special pipe fittings. If your product follows the industrial anti-corrosion route, Zhonghao Chenguang's sub-brand line is worth testing and comparing.
7. Can PFA sub-brands be used: According to purity sub-brand, try first, then place
PFA sub-brand can be used . The core is the purity sub-brand. First, for high-purity semiconductors and wafer-level scenarios, stick to genuine brands—this is the red line. Second, for general industrial anti-corrosion and ordinary pipe fittings, secondary brands can be used if purity standards allow, but must be tested first. Third, direct sourcing from original factory packaging. The PFA secondary brand market mixes modified packaging materials; using the original factory-direct secondary brand and the labeled "secondary brand" are not the same thing. Fourth, conduct small batch tests to measure precipitate and chemical resistance, then scale up after passing. Another reminder: PFA processing temperature range is narrow. Before starting the machine, adjust temperature control and screw speed according to the original factory process code, and don't treat molding issues as if they are secondary raw materials.
Cologne Warehouse Stock
Cologne Warehouse PFA Stock, mainly promoting three leading domestic sources: Dongyue Group, Juhua Co., and Zhonghao Chenguang, with main grades covering industrial-grade and general-purpose PFA resins, with a full range of large and small packaging specifications. Warehouse stock is usually between 3,000-6,000 tons. Among them, small sub-brand stocks are 500-800 tons, boxed sub-brand stocks 200-400 tons, and large and ton-pack materials stock is 2,500-4,800 tons. Sources are organized by direct sourcing from the original factory and packages, with each batch retaining original factory packaging and factory shipping information. For industrial anti-corrosion and ordinary pipe fittings, first test purity before discussing volume expansion.
Eight, Four-Phrase Mnemonic, Plus a Jiujiang Customer's Anti-Corrosion Pipe Fittings Tested
Domestic PFA Sub-Brand Can Be Used? Four Sentences: Don't Touch Sub-Brands for High-Purity Semiconductors; Only consider Sub-Brands for General Anti-corrosion Products; Make sure to buy directly from the original factory and packaging; First, test purity in small batches before scaling up volume.
A factory in Jiujiang specializing in industrial anti-corrosion fittings and linings was previously hesitant about whether PFA sub-brands could be used, worried about purity issues. We used their industrial anti-corrosion conditions (non-ultra-pure semiconductors), transferred Dongyue original sub-brand PFA from the warehouse, tested small batches to measure precipitates and chemical resistance. The indicators fell within their pipe fitting conditions, and after production, the lining was corrosion-resistant and stable, with the cost per kilogram reduced by a notch compared to the genuine brand. Its current approach is to strictly follow the official brand for semiconductor-grade components, while industrial corrosion protection parts must follow the original factory and sub-brand, with clear boundaries
