做塑料的圈子里有个心照不宣的鄙视链:新料看不起再生料,再生料里透明的看不起杂色的。
但有意思的是,你开的车、家里的洗衣机、楼下那个绿色垃圾桶,里面可能都住着再生PP。
更扎心的是,2025年光是车用再生PP就吃掉了38.7万吨,蔚来、理想、小鹏的新车都在用,单车用量拉到14.3公斤。

一说再生料就摇头?市场在笑你
很多人一听"再生料"三个字就皱眉,脑子里全是"强度差、批次乱、颜色脏"。
真实情况是:再生PP按等级分得很清楚。一级料灰分≤1%,白色本色,直接顶替新料用;汽车级更狠,灰分要求≤0.35%,拉伸强度保留率不低于原生的92.5%,连主机厂都认。
说白了,那些翻车翻到骂娘的,十有八九是图便宜买了三级杂色料,然后让一级料的活儿背了锅。
再生料不是不行,是你没买对等级。市场不会因为你看不起它,就少用一个亿的再生PP。
颜色不对,订单白费
再生PP的颜色,是个玄学,也是个生意。
黑色料用量占大头、也最省——托盘、垃圾桶、汽车非外观件,黑压压一片全用它,因为它能把杂色全盖住。
蓝色、绿色、灰色各有主场:蓝色做物流周转箱,绿色做果筐,灰色做汽车件和管材。白色和本色最金贵,要做家电外壳、瓶盖,得靠高纯度分选,价格直接上一个台阶。
但最坑的是"杂色料"。外观看起来都差不多,一上机,色差ΔE能给你拉到3以上,做出来的件花花绿绿,客户当场拒收。
所以选再生PP,先问颜色,再谈价格。颜色谈不拢,价格再低都是白搭。
气味刺鼻还发脆?那是回收偷了工
再生PP有两个出厂自带的小毛病:气味,和脆。
气味来自废料里的残留物——油污、标签胶、降解产物,洗不干净就烧进料里,开箱一股味,注塑车间都能闻到。脆则是因为回收过程分子链降解,冲击强度掉得厉害,冬天一冷,脆得像饼干。
这俩问题,不处理就是退货大户,处理好了就是利润。

熔指不对有多惨?你拿注塑级的料去拉丝,丝拉出来又粗又脆,一扯就断;拿拉丝级的料去注塑,料流不动,缺胶、短射、纹路花,整批报废。
关键是再生PP的熔指批次波动比新料大,±10%-20%是常态。所以正经厂都要求每批带检测报告,别信"这批跟上次一样"这种鬼话。
从保险杠到纸尿裤,它通吃
再生PP的应用版图,比你想象的大得多:
汽车上,保险杠骨架、门板、仪表板骨架,还有新能源车的电池托盘,都是它的地盘;
家电里,洗衣机内桶、空调外机壳、冰箱储物盒,白色家电是它的基本盘;
物流端,塑料托盘、周转箱、快递分拣筐,蓝的黑的全是它;

Many people frown at the mention of "recycled materials," their minds full of "poor strength, mixed batches, dirty colors."
The real situation is: recycled PP is clearly classified by grade. Grade 1 material contains ≤1% ash, its natural white color, directly replacing new material; Automotive-grade is even harsher, with an ash content requirement of ≤0.35%, tensile strength retention rate not less than 92.5% of virgin, even OEMs accept it.
To be blunt, those who mess up and curse are probably just buying grade 3 mixed materials for cheapness, then letting the grade 1 material take the blame.
Recycled material isn't impossible; it's that you didn't buy the right grade. The market won't use 100 million less recycled PP just because you look down on it.
The color is wrong, orders are wasted .
The color of recycled PP is a mystery, and it's also a business.
Black material accounts for the majority and is also the most economical—pallets, trash bins, non-exterior car parts, all packed with black and color, because it covers all the impurities.
Blue, green, and gray each have their own domain: blue for logistics turnover boxes, green for fruit baskets, gray for automotive parts and pipes. White and natural colors are the most precious. For appliance shells and bottle caps, high-purity sorting is needed, and prices go up a whole new level.
But the biggest problem is "mixed colors." They all look similar, but once in the machine, the color difference ΔE can be over 3. The finished pieces are colorful and the customer rejects them on the spot.
So when choosing recycled PP, ask about the color first, then discuss the price. If you can't agree on color, no matter how low the price is, it's all for nothing.
Pungent smell and brittle? That's recycled work cut corners
Recycled PP has two inherent minor issues at the factory: smell and brittleness.
The smell comes from residues in the scrap—oil, label glue, degradation products. If you can't clean them properly, they're burned into the material. When you open the box, there's a smell that can be smelled in the injection molding workshop. Brittleness comes from molecular chain degradation during recycling, which greatly reduces impact strength. In winter, it turns out to be as crisp as biscuits.
These two issues, if not addressed, are major returns; if handled properly, it's profit.

Melting Finger is the material's "temperament value": Drawn grade 2-4, used for woven bags and strapping tape; Injection molding grade 8-15, for turnover boxes, daily necessities, and home appliance shells; Fiber nonwoven fabric grade 20-40, for diapers, masks, carpet base fabrics; High melting finger spinning grade 30-60, for high-speed spinning.
How bad is it to have wrong melting fingers? If you use injection-grade material to draw wires, the wire comes out thick and brittle, breaking easily with a single pull; If you use brushed-grade material for injection molding, the material flow doesn't move, there's a lack of glue, short shots, and uneven textures, resulting in the whole batch being scrapped.
The key is that the melting index of recycled PP fluctuates more than new material, ± 10%-20% is normal. So reputable factories require every batch to have a test report. Don't believe nonsense like "this batch is the same as last time."
