老曾在宁波做汽车发动机罩下件,一批PPE/PA合金料因为整车改了外饰涂装线,在仓里压了十吨多。这料是冲着在线涂装、发动机罩下耐温去的,袋身上印着Noryl GTX的标,玻纤含量不低。新涂装线改了工艺,这十吨PPE/PA瞬间从"涂装专用料"变成了"用不上的料"。他让仓管查了下湿度,仓库有点潮,PA那部分怕吸水——他当场决定,这料不能再放了。
PPE/PA这种涂装合金,呆滞起来急人的地方在于PA在偷偷吸水。
PPE不吸水,PA吸水,拼在一起的料就怕仓库潮,一潮两边都难受。
PPE/PA为什么难处理?它把PPE的低介电、耐热和PA的强度拼在一起,专门给汽车在线涂装件、发动机罩下件用,耐温耐化学都要扛得住。可正因为拼了PA,吸潮是绕不开的事——PA那部分跟海绵一样,仓库潮一点它就吸水,烘完尺寸还变。普通回收商看不出你这袋PA占几成、玻纤多少,干脆按"不明合金"压你一刀。这就像两种茶叶拼的茶包——你喝得出是拼的,可拼的比例说不清,价格就只能乱开。再加上合金料单价不低,压在仓里又是资金又是租金,时间一长吸水更重。
涂装料怕潮,潮了之后耐温耐化学都得打折。
再说收废料的。你打一圈电话,对方一听PPE/PA,先假装懂,"这个我们收",报完价你一听就是普通合金的价。统货商的套路你早能背:他不问你玻纤含量,也不测耐温,直接按合金料统货算——他心里清楚,你自己都未必说得清PA占几成。有些更绝,闻着袋口潮,立刻说"这料吸水解了,只能按次品",再砍一刀。说白了,他不是在收货,是在拿你分不清比例赚钱。
你说不清的比例,正好成了他压你价的理由。

避坑三条。"PPE/PA跟普通合金一个价?"真相是涂装专用料有溢价,乱卖才亏。"受潮烘一烘就好?"真相是PA吸水后尺寸和物性都得重新算。"谁价高卖给谁?"真相是分不清玻纤和PA比例的贩子,只会给你统货价。

Old Zeng was making automotive engine cover underparts in Ningbo. A batch of PPE/PA alloy material was stored in the warehouse after the exterior coating line was renovated for the entire vehicle. This material was designed for online painting and temperature resistance under the engine hood, with the Noryl GTX label printed on the bag and a high glass fiber content. With the new coating line changing the process, these ten tons of PPE/PA instantly turned from "coating-specific material" to "unused material." He had the warehouse staff check the humidity; the warehouse was a bit damp, and the PA part was worried about water absorption—he immediately decided this material couldn't be added.
PPE/PA coating alloys become stagnant because the PA is secretly absorbing water.
PPE doesn't absorb water, PA absorbs water. The material assembled together is afraid of warehouse moisture, which is uncomfortable on both sides. Why is
PPE/PA hard to handle? It combines PPE's low dielectric and heat resistance with PA's strength, specifically for automotive online painting parts and engine hood blankets, with temperature and chemical resistance. But precisely because PA is assembled, moisture absorption is unavoidable—the PA part is like a sponge; once the warehouse gets damp, it absorbs water and changes size after drying. Ordinary recyclers can't tell what percentage of your PA bag is or how much fiberglass you have, so they just use "unknown alloy" to cut you down. It's like two teas mixed together—you can tell it's assembled, but the proportions can't be clearly described, so the price is random. Plus, alloy materials are not cheap, and storing them in the warehouse means both capital and rent, and over time, they absorb more water.
Coating materials are sensitive to moisture; once they get damp, their temperature and chemical resistance have to be discounted.
Now let's talk about the scrap collectors. You make a round call, and when the other party hears PPE/PA, they pretend to understand and say, "We'll buy this," but after quoting the price, you immediately hear it's ordinary alloy price. You've already memorized the tactics of the wholesalers: they don't ask about your fiberglass content or test temperature resistance, but simply calculate by the alloy material for bulk goods—they know very well that you might not even know what percentage PA accounts for. Some are even worse: smelling moisture at the bag opening, they immediately say, "This material has absorbed water and decomposed, so it can only be considered defective," and then cut it again. To put it bluntly, they're not actually buying goods—they're making money off your unclear proportions.
The unclear proportions you can't tell have become their reason for lowering your price.

The price of coating materials depends on temperature resistance and actual tests, not on the corner of the bag.
Five-step cooperation process: material reporting, grading and evaluation, on-site pickup, deduction of payment, settlement and invoicing. You take photos of the material bag printing, quantity, fiberglass content, and humidity status, and we quote based on the actual product grading. Once negotiations are reached, we come to the door to deliver the goods. The recycling payment can be directly used to offset your subsequent purchase of new materials—for engineering plastics, we have our own KONICE modified plastics series. Ningbo Lao Zeng's ten tons of PPE/PA were evaluated and priced separately for different glass fiber contents, directly offsetting about half of the payment for his second half of the year's KONICE modified materials. Worried about moisture, those bags were taken away the same day and didn't allow them to continue absorbing them.

We have received quite a few recyclable PPE/PA grades. Mainstream grades for online coating and engine hood underparts such as SABIC Noryl GTX810, GTX910, GTX820, as well as alloy substrates like Nantong Xingchen LXN040, are all within the regular acceptance range; Other brands and other fiberglass PPE/PA content are also welcome to submit materials, subject to physical appraisal. Recyclable forms include stagnant original packaging (complete supports and loose packages are acceptable), sprue and gate materials, overhead scraps and machine head materials, painted parts scrap and defective products, as well as inventory leftover materials from project closures; Fiberglass-reinforced grades should be classified separately for higher appraisal prices.
Three pitfalls to avoid. "PPE/PA is the same price as ordinary alloys?" The truth is that coating-specific materials have a premium; selling recklessly is the cause of losses. "Just drying it with moisture is enough?" The truth is that after PA absorbs water, its size and physical properties must be recalculated. "Who sells to whom at the highest price?" The truth is, dealers who can't distinguish the ratio of fiberglass to PA will only give you a uniform price.
