老朱在浙江台州开了家注塑厂,专做日用品和塑料筐。上个月客户把塑料筐材料从PP改成了回收PP加填充,仓库里那几袋T30S拉丝料、两袋HP500N注塑级,就这么在托盘上躺了快一年。袋子底部压得发扁,标签还是去年的,仓管说"这料再不动,都快成古董了"。
日用品行业说变就变,压在仓里的PP不会自己跟着变。
呆滞料不是货,是趴在账上的负债。
PP这东西,聚丙烯,通用塑料里的"大路货"——做编织袋、塑料筐、日用品、汽车内饰,哪儿都有它。它怕啥?怕混。跟均聚PP混一起做注塑,刚性就差;跟共聚PP混一起做拉丝,强度又不够。跟大米和糯米混一个缸里一样,本来各干各的活,混了就都不干了。更头疼的是PP堆久了吸光氧化,表面发脆,注塑出来的筐一摔就裂。
大宗通用料的通病就是——谁都能收,谁都想压价。更头疼的是均聚PP和共聚PP摆一起,光靠眼睛分不出来,得测熔融指数和抗冲强度。贩子不懂这套,抓起来捏两下,直接按PP统货给你算,好料卖了个渣价。
说个真事,老朱之前联系过三个收废料的。头一个一听是PP,直接说"这料太常见了,统货价给你算";第二个倒是来,可绕着仓库转一圈,说"你这料均聚共聚不清,我只能按统货给你算";第三个更绝,连门都没进,电话里直接说"你自己拉过来,我就这个价"。老朱差点就拉过去了,幸亏同行提醒他,"这种二道贩子,你拉过去他还能再挑你一车毛病"。
统货商的套路,跟收废品大爷的秤差不多——表面上明码标价,暗地里给你少算二十斤。你以为他在帮你清库存,其实他在拿你的好料贴补他的差料。
说白了,他给的价,永远是他转手再卖一刀的价。
科隆新材做PP回收走终端消化路线。T30S拉丝级、HP500N注塑级、L5E89拉丝级,下游编织袋厂和日用品厂一直在用,收进来分级后直接对口走掉,不压库。F401挤出级这些细分牌号,我们也接——冷门料进自家改性造粒配方里消化,不挑批次不挑颜色。跟配饲料差不多,主料主料用,辅料掺着用,啥料都不浪费。
定价按熔融指数、等规度、外观分级,干净料出好价,轻微降解的按改性料收。自有产能和长期客户托底,报价稳,不会行情一跌就翻脸不认人。
通用料走量快,前提是你得找到真正用它的人。
合作流程走五步:报料、分级评估、上门收货、抵扣货款、结算开票。老朱那批料就是这么处理的——他拍了照发来,标了T30S大概十吨、HP500N五吨,我们评估完报了价,约了时间上门过磅。回收款直接抵扣了他下个月采购KONICE改性塑料的货款,抵了差不多四万多。仓库清出一排,老朱说"早知道这样,前年就该处理了,哪用压这么久"。
回收不是贱卖,是把压在仓位上的钱,转成能周转的新料。老朱后来把这事跟同行一说,同行才开窍——原来PP不是不值钱,是没找对真正用它的人。
目前可回收的PP牌号,包括中石化T30S、F401,中石油T30S,利安德巴塞尔HP500N,恒力石化L5E89等主流编号;埃克森美孚1304E3、7033E3等其余牌号以实物评估为准。形态上都收:呆滞原包料、注塑水口、编织袋边角、塑料筐废品、库存尾料。本色料和黑色料分开装,分级价更优。
三个常见误区,给你提个醒——
"PP到处都是,不值钱?"真相是T30S这种流通料走量快,找对终端比找贩子强。
"放着等行情回来?"真相是PP吸光氧化,每多放一个月残值掉一截。
"自己拉过去卖省事?"真相是上门收货和送货上门,价格能差出一截。
Old Zhu opened an injection molding factory in Taizhou, Zhejiang, specializing in daily necessities and plastic baskets. Last month, the client switched plastic basket materials from PP to recycled PP and filler. The few bags of T30S brushed material and two bags of HP500N injection molded grade in the warehouse have been lying on pallets for almost a year. The bottom of the bags is flattened, and the labels are still from last year. The warehouse manager said, "If this material doesn't move, it's going to become an antique."
The daily necessities industry changes instantly; the PP stored in the warehouse won't change on its own.
Obsolete material isn't goods, it's a liability lying on the books.
PP this stuff—polypropylene, the "mainstream goods" in general plastics—made into woven bags, plastic baskets, daily necessities, car interiors, it's everywhere. What is it afraid of? Afraid of mixing. Mixing with homopolymer PP for injection molding results in poor rigidity; Mixing with copolymer PP for brushing lacks strength. It's like mixing rice and glutinous rice in the same tank—each doing its own job, but once mixed, none of them work. What's even more troublesome is that after stacking PP for too long, it absorbs light and oxidizes, making the surface brittle, and the injection-molded basket cracks with a drop.
The common problem with bulk general-purpose materials is—anyone can buy them, everyone wants to bargain at a lower price. What's even more troublesome is that when you put homopolymer PP and copolymer PP together, you can't tell by eye, you have to measure melt index and impact strength. Dealers don't understand this trick, so they grab it and squeeze it a couple of times, then calculate it by the standard PP for you. The good material sells at a junk price.
Telling a truth, Old Zhu had previously contacted three scrap collectors. The first one immediately said PP, "This material is too common, I'll calculate the wholesale price for you"; The second came but circled the warehouse and said, "Your material is unevenly concentrated, so I can only calculate it as a standard for you"; The third was even more ruthless, not even entering the door, directly saying over the phone, "Bring it yourself, I'll pay this price." Old Zhu almost pulled it over, but luckily a peer warned him, "With these middlemen like this, if you bring them over, they can still find fault with your truckload."
The wholesale merchant's tactic is similar to the scrap collector's scale—they clearly mark the price on the surface, but secretly calculate 20 jin less. You might think he's helping you clear inventory, but he's actually using your good materials to make up for his inferior ones.
To put it bluntly, the price he gives is always the price he resells for another cut.
Cologne New Materials follows the terminal digestion route for PP recycling. T30S brushed grade, HP500N injection molded grade, L5E89 brushed grade—downstream woven bag factories and daily necessities factories have always used them. After grading them, they immediately take them out without holding back inventory. For F401 extrusion grades, we also accept niche feeds that are processed into our own modified granulation formula, without picking batches or colors. It's similar to mixed feed: main ingredients are used, auxiliary materials are mixed in, and nothing is wasted.
Pricing is based on melting index, isometric standards, and appearance grading; clean materials offer good prices, and slightly degraded materials are treated as modified materials. Own production capacity and long-term customers provide a bottom line, stable quotations, and they won't turn their backs on others when the market drops.
General materials sell quickly, but the premise is that you find people who truly use them.
Five-step cooperation process: material submission, graded evaluation, on-site pickup, deduction of payment, settlement and invoice. This is how Old Zhu handled the batch — he took photos and sent them, bidding about 10 tons of T30S and 5 tons of HP500N. We appraised and quoted the price, then arranged a time for on-site weighing. The recycling payment was directly offset by his purchase of KONICE modified plastic next month, totaling about 40,000 yuan. After clearing out a row from the warehouse, Old Zhu said, "If I had known this would happen, I would have handled it the year before last. Why hold it for so long?"
Recycling isn't about selling cheaply; it's about converting the money stored in the warehouse into new materials that can be used for turnover. Later, when Old Zhu told his peers about this, they finally realized that PP wasn't worthless, but that they hadn't found the right people who truly used it.
Currently, the recyclable PP grades include mainstream numbers like Sinopec T30S, F401, PetroChina T30S, Leander Basel HP500N, and Hengli Petrochemical L5E89; ExxonMobil 1304E3, 7033E3, and other grades are based on physical appraisal. In terms of form, they collect: obsolete original packaging, injection-molded sprue nozzles, woven bag edges and corners, plastic basket scraps, and inventory scraps. Raw pigment and black material are packaged separately, with better grading prices.
Three common misconceptions, a reminder for you—
"PP is everywhere, not worth much?" "The truth is, T30S is a material that sells quickly, and finding the right end is better than finding a dealer."
"Waiting for market prices to come back?" "The truth is PP absorbs light and oxidizes, and every extra month it is stored loses a bit of residual value.
