The more practical pain point in the workshop: CA material is expensive, unit price isn't low, and several boxes of stagnant material are stored in the warehouse, taking up a lot of money. It's also small-batch, multi-variety, with frequent model changes. Pile up sprue material and scrap material and become a trending topic.
Expensive materials left unused, every day is a waste of money.
Old Xu has contacted buyers for materials. The dealer frowned at the mention of "cellulose acetate"—this material was niche, and he couldn't even find a buyer to sell it. Finally, someone willing to look at it came in, grabbed the pellets, squeezed them, and said, "They're getting damp and soft, so they keep pushing for a price."
To put it bluntly, when a wholesaler encounters a niche material like CA, their first thought isn't to try to digest it, but to use 'moisture' and 'niche' as an excuse to push prices down to the floor. If they know you can't find another buyer for this material, they'll just push you down.
Some dealers treat niche materials like antique shop owners collecting scrap—the more anxious you are, the more they act tough.

Tell a true story. Last year, a factory in Ningbo that made eyeglass frames had about two or three tons of CA raw material plus a bunch of sprue material. Good materials aren't afraid of not being picked up; what's worrisome is selling good materials as waste.
