二、同是MABS，价差凭什么这么大
MABS的价格差，主要藏在四个地方。
第一，透明度不同。通用级便宜，高透明级贵。高透明需要特殊MMA含量，价格更高。
第二，抗冲等级不同。通用级便宜，高抗冲级贵。高抗冲需要特殊丁二烯含量，价格更高。
第三，耐热等级不同。通用级便宜，耐热级贵。耐热需要特殊配方，价格更高。
第四，品牌和产地。进口溢价高但批次稳定，国产性价比高但牌号少。同样是高透明级，进口比国产贵30-50%，贵的是品控和研发。

我见过太多采购，比价比到最后选了最便宜的十五的，然后做出来的制品透明差、有雾度、客户退货，一次损失够买半年的好料。

Quotes range from CNY 15/kg to CNY 35/kg. MABS (transparent ABS, MMA-modified acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene) is not one material: general, high-transparency, high-impact, heat-resistant and electroplating grades each carry a different price.
MABS offers high transparency, high impact resistance and easy processing, and is used in appliance housings, electronics, automotive parts, office supplies and display products.

(3) Heat grade — heat resistance needs special formulations. (4) Brand and origin — imports cost 30-50% more for the same grade, paying for quality control and R&D.
3. Procurement pitfalls
The cheapest material often gives poor transparency or haze, causing returns. Three traps to avoid:
First, test light transmittance and impact strength against the COA instead of trusting the grade name. Second, watch for substitution: some traders sell ABS as MABS or low-transparency as high-transparency; demand the COA, a transmittance test and original packaging. Third, calculate total cost: A at CNY 15/kg with a 5% defect rate vs. B at CNY 22/kg with 1% — B is cheaper per part.
4. Standard grades not enough? Consider modified compounds
If you need high transparency AND high impact, heat resistance AND high flow — you need modified MABS.
