二、同是EPDM，价差凭什么这么大
EPDM的价格差，主要藏在四个地方。
第一，乙烯含量不同。乙烯含量50%左右便宜，含量70%以上高弹性但贵。乙烯含量越高，弹性和强度越好，但加工难度越大。
第二，充油与否不同。干胶贵，充油便宜。充油级比干胶便宜20-30%，但性能略降。
第三，耐候等级不同。通用级便宜，高耐候级贵。高耐候需要特殊稳定剂，价格更高。
第四，品牌和产地。进口溢价高但批次稳定，国产性价比高但牌号少。同样是高耐候级，进口比国产贵30-50%，贵的是品控和研发。
三、采购避坑：别让乙烯含量骗了你
我见过太多采购，比价比到最后选了最便宜的十一的充油级，然后做出来的密封条弹性差、出油、客户退货，一次损失够买半年的好料。
EPDM采购这行，水比你想的深。三个坑必须绕开：
第一，看乙烯含量和门尼粘度不看牌号。同一个牌号不同批次性能可能波动，拿到料先测乙烯含量和门尼粘度，和COA对得上再用。别听销售说"差不多"，差不多就是差很多。
第二，警惕以次充好。有些贸易商拿EPM当EPDM卖，拿充油级当干胶卖。要COA、要乙烯含量检测、要原厂包装，三证合一才敢用。
第三，别只比单价，算综合成本。A料单价11块，做出来密封条次品率5%；B料单价17块，次品率1%。算到每米密封条上，B料反而更便宜。

How much is EPDM per kilogram?
Quotes range from CNY 13/kg to CNY 35/kg. EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer rubber) is not one material: general-purpose, high-weatherability, high-elasticity, oil-extended and dry-rubber grades each carry a different price.
EPDM offers high weatherability, high elasticity and ozone resistance, and is used in automotive weather strips, waterproof membranes, wire and cable, rubber products and industrial hoses.
1. Mainstream grade quotes (imported + domestic) — recent market references; live prices subject to same-day inquiry.
Imported EPDM (overseas majors)
General-purpose, approx. CNY 18-26/kg. Automotive weather strips, rubber products, industrial hoses.
High-weatherability, approx. CNY 22-30/kg. Waterproof membranes, outdoor applications, construction materials.

2. Why prices differ so much
Four factors: (1) Ethylene content — around 50% is cheap; above 70% gives better elasticity and strength but harder processing. (2) Oil extension — dry rubber is dearer; oil-extended grades are 20-30% cheaper with slightly lower performance. (3) Weatherability grade — high-weatherability needs special stabilizers. (4) Brand and origin — imports cost 30-50% more for the same grade, paying for quality control and R&D.
3. Procurement pitfalls
The cheapest oil-extended grade often gives poor elasticity, oil bleeding and returns. Three traps to avoid:
First, test ethylene content and Mooney viscosity against the COA instead of trusting the grade name. Second, watch for substitution: some traders sell EPM as EPDM or oil-extended as dry rubber; demand the COA, an ethylene-content test and original packaging. Third, calculate total cost per meter of weather strip: A at CNY 11/kg with a 5% defect rate vs. B at CNY 17/kg with 1% — B is cheaper.
4. Standard grades not enough? Consider modified compounds
If you need high weatherability AND high elasticity, high strength AND softness — you need modified EPDM.
