反常识说一个事:很多人以为PBT副牌和ABS副牌、PC副牌是一回事,都是"原厂正牌差点指标"。但真做改性的都知道,PBT副牌的门道比想象中多——特性粘度差0.05,打出来的连接器强度就差一截;端羧基含量高一点,耐热老化就差一截。PBT这东西,副牌不是不能用,是得挑着用。

PBT副牌:特性粘度和端羧基含量是两个硬指标
PBT副牌,是原厂同一牌号体系里检验指标小幅偏离的批次。落到PBT上,副牌最常见的差异点集中在三项:特性粘度波动、端羧基含量偏高、色相偏差。
为什么这三项关键?PBT的核心指标就是特性粘度(分子量的表征)。粘度波动大,改性后的强度和韧性就跟着波动。端羧基含量高,则表示聚酯降解倾向大,耐热老化性能下降。色相偏差则影响浅色制品的外观。
和回料的区别再说一遍:PBT回料是连接器、拉链等制品破碎再造粒,分子量已经降解过一次,粘度明显下降;PBT副牌是原厂原生切片,只是个别指标小幅偏离。做电子连接器,用副牌是"粘度够不够"的问题,用回料是"能不能通过安规"的问题。

第一,特性粘度必须和产品匹配。PBT副牌粘度波动比正牌大,改性厂选副牌时要先确认自己配方需要的粘度区间,别拿高粘度副牌去打需要流动性的薄壁连接器。
第二,端羧基含量必须测。PBT副牌如果端羧基含量偏高,耐热老化性能下降,做汽车发动机舱周边件要特别注意。
第三,安规认证件别用副牌。电子连接器有安规认证要求的,必须用正牌,别拿副牌赌。
第四,注意运输距离。蓝山屯河产能在新疆,到华东运费不低;仪征化纤在江苏,和时利在江阴,华东客户就近采购更划算。

But anyone who actually modifies them knows that PBT secondary brands have more tricks than you might think—if the characteristic viscosity is 0.05 different, the connector strength is a notch lower; If the carboxyl content at the end is higher, the resistance to heat aging is a notch worse. PBT isn't that secondary brands can't be used—you have to choose and use them.

PBT? The domestic capacity structure
PBT polybutylene terephthalate, which has fast crystallization, short molding cycles, chemical resistance, and good electrical insulation. PBT sub-brand: Intrinsic viscosity and end carboxyl content are two hard indicators
PBT sub-brand, and are batches with slight deviations in inspection indicators within the same original brand's system. For PBT, the most common differences in secondary brands are three: fluctuation in intrinsic viscosity, high end carboxyl content, and hue deviation.
Why are these three key? The core indicator of PBT is intrinsic viscosity (representing molecular weight). Large fluctuations in viscosity lead to changes in modified strength and toughness. High end carboxyl content indicates a strong tendency for polyester to degrade, resulting in reduced heat aging resistance. Hue deviation affects the appearance of light-colored products.
Again, the difference between recycled material and recycled materials: PBT recycled material is the crushing and regranulation of connectors, zippers, and other products, with molecular weight already degraded once, resulting in a significant decrease in viscosity; PBT secondary brands are original factory chips, with only slight deviations in certain indicators. For electronic connectors, using secondary brands is a matter of "viscosity is sufficient," while recycled materials are a matter of "whether they can meet safety standards."
Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fiber: A long-established domestic main player in PBT
Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fiber is a long-established PBT producer in China, relying on Sinopec's integrated upstream PTA and BDO resources, possessing strong cost control capabilities. PBT secondary brand pitfall guide
First, the characteristic viscosity must match the product. PBT secondary brands have greater viscosity fluctuations than genuine ones. When selecting secondary brands, modified manufacturers should first confirm the viscosity range required for their formula and avoid using high-viscosity secondary brands to use thin-walled connectors that require flow.
Second, the end carboxyl content must be measured. If the PBT secondary brand has high end carboxyl content, its heat aging resistance decreases, so special attention should be paid when making automotive engine compartment peripheral parts.
Third, do not use secondary brands for safety certification parts. For electronic connectors with safety certification requirements, use genuine brands; do not gamble with secondary brands.
Fourth, pay attention to transportation distance. Lanshantunhe's production capacity is in Xinjiang, with high shipping costs to East China; Yizheng Chemical Fiber is in Jiangsu, Heshili in Jiangyin, so purchasing nearby is more cost-effective for East China customers.
Cologne Warehouse Stock | Mixed Domestic PBT Grades
Cologne maintains domestic PBT sub-brand stock at the Ningbo warehouse, with main brands covering three leading domestic companies: Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fiber, Jiangyin Heshili, and Xinjiang Lanshantunhe. A modified factory in Nanjing specializing in electronic connectors previously used a certain imported genuine PBT brand as the base material, which had a relatively high cost per ton. They first took two tons of samples for modification testing, and both the intrinsic viscosity and end carboxyl content were within the acceptable range of the formula.
