Once the packaging breaks, the PP phase slowly precipitates onto the surface, causing the sealing strip size to shift; Hardness ranges from 64A to 90A, corresponding to different door sealing strips. Dealers don't distinguish between them—one ton is treated like a ton per ton. Honestly, what he says is useless isn't because he really has no customers, but because he doesn't have any other car factories to deal with. Some dealers are even worse, not even testing hardness, mixing 64A and 90A into one truck.
Wholesaler isn't helping you deal with scrap, they're using your good materials to supplement their poor parts.

A different method is more cost-effective—replacing recycled material with new material. Five-step process: first report the material, take photos, report the brand, tonnage, and city; We come to the site for grading and evaluation, then quote on the spot after testing; On-site weighing and receiving the goods; The recovery payment is directly deducted from your purchase of new material from Cologne; Final settlement and invoice issuance. A long-term customer who makes dust covers has about 6 tons of TPV stale material stored in the warehouse. By grading, nearly half of the new material payment was offset, saving about 30,000 yuan in cash flow. As for specific grades, we regularly recycle mainstream grades like ExxonMobil Santoprene 101-73, Santoprene 201-64, Santoprene 121-67W175, and Dawnprene TPV; Other manufacturers like Teknor Apex, Milastomer, and Zhejiang Zhonggao Lanyang grade are based on actual appraisal. Recyclable forms include stagnant original pack material (whole trays or loose packs), sealing strip sprue material, dust cover gate material, extrusion gate material, pelletizer head material, scrap parts, and inventory residue. Spray frost particles should be sampled separately; don't mix them with new pellets in the same bag.
To be honest, TPV spray frost comes out slowly; you can't see it today, but after half a year, the surface will be white. You press it down and don't sell; wait for the frost to spray out before bargaining, and they will just press it as inferior material. Sell while the foam still feels clean, and the bill is worth it.
Last-minute comment to avoid pitfalls. Is recycling just selling cheap? The truth is selling by hardness and grade; good materials can sell at good prices. Waiting for price increases? The truth is TPV only precipitates spray frost when stored, and the longer it is stored, the less valuable it becomes. Who bids the higher price?
