PLA这东西,学名叫聚乳酸,玉米淀粉发酵做的,做降解吸管、餐盒、3D打印耗材都靠它。可它天生娇贵——吸潮就水解,料粒表面发雾、有银丝,跟糯米粉放潮了一个道理,不烘干上机,打出来的餐盒一掰就脆。更麻烦的是Ingeo 4032D、4043D、2003D、Luminy L105、L175、REVODE190、195、201、FY801、802、804用途各不同,注塑级和纤维级混了用,餐盒壁厚和强度都不对。你要是不懂分级,把试产边角和原包料混一袋,贩子看一眼就按统货价给你,好料卖了个渣价。时间一长,标签磨花,连生产日期都看不清。
PLA放着不是等涨价,是等它自己悄悄水解变脆。
说个真事,老宋之前找过一个收废料的贩子,对方开着小货车过来,绕着仓库转了两圈,张口就说"你这料发雾了、水解了、还混了,统货价给你算"。老宋想着赶紧腾地方,就答应了。结果过完磅,对方又开始挑袋子——这袋脏、那袋标识糊了,每吨再砍几百。老宋心里憋屈,可货都装车了,又能咋办。
统货商的算盘打得比你家会计还精——好料挑走按次品算,潮货退回来按运费算。你品品,他赚的不是废料的钱,是你不懂行的钱。
贩子的报价单,跟天气预报一样——出门前看一眼就行,别当真。
科隆新材做PLA回收走的是终端消化路线,不靠倒手赚差价。Ingeo 4032D、4043D、2003D,Luminy L105、L175,REVODE190、195、201,FY801、802、804这些主流牌号,下游餐盒、吸管、3D打印厂一直在用,收进来分级后直接对口走掉,不压库。试产剩料、批次杂、轻微发雾的料,我们不挑——进科隆自家改性配方里消化掉,跟配中药一样,这味料流动性偏一点,另一味补回来就行。
定价也不是一刀切。按牌号、熔指、外观、是否吸潮水解分级,原包新料出好价,轻微水解的按改性级收,每档价差摆在台面上。再加上自有产能和长期客户托底,报价不随行情大起大落,别人行情涨了追着你要、行情跌了电话都不接,我们该多少还是多少。
好料不怕没人收,怕的是你把好料当废料卖了。
合作流程走五步:报料、分级评估、上门收货、抵扣货款、结算开票。老宋那批料就是这么走的——他拍了几张照片发来,标了牌号和大概六吨,我们评估完报了个价,约了时间上门过磅。货拉回来之后,回收款直接抵扣了他下个月采购KONICE改性塑料的货款,大概抵了近一半。等于仓库清了、现金回来了、新料也进了厂,一趟走完他跟我说,早知道这样早两年就该处理了。
回收的本质,不是卖废料,是把死钱变成活钱。

三个常见误区,给你提个醒——
"回收就是贱卖?"真相是分牌号分级卖,好料能卖好价,混料才被压价。
"可降解料放着没事?"真相是PLA吸潮就水解,放久了一掰就脆。
"谁出价高卖给谁?"真相是到手砍价、压秤、拖欠的,价比三家反而亏。
Old Song opened a lunch box factory in Yiwu, and last year responded to the plastic ban by replacing the injection molding line with PLA biodegradable lunch boxes. But the customer suddenly cut off the straw orders. The batch of NatureWorks Ingeo 4032D, 4043D, and several bags of Haizheng REVODE195 and Fengyuan FY801 in the warehouse slept on the tray for nearly half a year. Because the plum rain season brought moisture back to the mouth, the surface of the pellets fogged up, and the money still hung on the ledger as "biodegradable new material"—in other words, dead money lying on the account.
Policies push production line switching, trial production and modified materials are under the pressure, and bosses making biodegradable products understand this year.
Obsolete material isn't an asset, it's a liability lying on the books.
PLA is called polylactic acid, made by fermenting corn starch. It is used for making degradable straws, lunch boxes, and 3D printing consumables. But it's inherently delicate—it absorbs moisture and hydrolyzes, causing the surface of the grains to mist and have silver threads. It's the same as glutinous rice flour that is damp. If not dried and put in the machine, the boxed meal will be brittle when broken. What's even more troublesome is Ingeo 4032D, 4043D, 2003D, Luminy L105, L175, REVODE190, 195, 201, FY801, 802, 804 each has different uses. Mixing injection-molded and fiber grades results in incorrect box wall thickness and strength. If you don't understand grading, mix trial production edges with the original raw material in one bag, and the seller will give you the standard price at a glance, selling the good material at a junk price. Over time, the label will wear off, and you won't even be able to see the production date.
PLA sitting there isn't waiting for the price to rise, but waiting for it to quietly hydrolyze and become brittle.
Here's a true story: Old Song once found a scrap material dealer who drove a small truck over, circled the warehouse twice, and immediately said, "Your material is foggy, hydrolyzed, and mixed. I'll pay you the standard price." Old Song thought he should quickly make room and agreed. But after weighing, the seller started picking bags again—one bag was dirty, that had a smudged label, and a few hundred more yuan per ton. Old Song felt frustrated, but the goods were already loaded onto trucks, so what else could he do?
The wholesaler's calculations are even more precise than your accountant's—picking out good materials and charging them as defective products, returning trendy goods by shipping fees. Honestly, what they earn isn't from scrap materials, but from money you don't know how to trade.
The vendor's quotation sheet is like a weather forecast—just take it one look before you leave, don't take it seriously.
Kelong New Materials follows the terminal digestion route for PLA recycling, not reselling to make a profit. Mainstream grades like Ingeo 4032D, 4043D, 2003D, Luminy L105, L175, REVODE190, 195, 201, FY801, 802, 804 are still used by downstream lunch boxes, straws, and 3D printing factories. After grading, they are taken directly away without inventory pressure. We don't pick out trial production leftovers, batch mixed, or slightly foggy materials—they go into Cologne's own modified formula and digest them, just like mixing Chinese medicine. If the flavor is slightly more fluid, just make up for it with another flavor.
Pricing isn't one-size-fits-all. Grades by grade, melting finger, appearance, moisture absorption and hydrolysis level. Original packaging and new material are offered at a good price, mild hydrolysis is treated as modified grade, and the price difference is displayed on the table. Plus, with our own production capacity and long-term customers as a backup, our quotes don't fluctuate wildly with the market. When prices go up, they chase after you; when prices fall, we ignore calls. We still pay what we owe.
Good materials aren't afraid of not being picked up; what's scary is selling good materials as scrap.
The five-step cooperation process: material reporting, grading and evaluation, on-site pickup, deduction of payment, settlement and invoice. Old Song's batch of materials was sent this way—he took a few photos and sent them with the grade and about six tons. We appraised and quoted a price, then scheduled a time for on-site weighing. After the goods were brought back, the repurchase amount was directly offset by his purchase of KONICE modified plastics the next month, which was nearly half. It means the warehouse is cleared, cash is returned, and new materials have arrived. After the trip, he told me he should have handled it two years ago if he'd known.
The essence of recycling isn't about selling scrap, but about turning dead money into living money.
Recyclable PLA covers mainstream grades like NatureWorks Ingeo 4032D, 4043D, 2003D, Total Carbon Luminy L105, L175, Zhejiang Haizheng REVODE190, 195, 201, Fengyuan FY801, 802, 804 in Anhui, and other brands like Jindan Technology are based on physical appraisal. In terms of form, we collect: stagnant original packaging (whole bags or loose bags are fine), trial production leftovers, lunch box straw spouts, injection-molded edges, moisture-absorbing and misting materials, and stock scraps. PLA has a short shelf life and is sensitive to moisture; the longer it is delayed, the more brittle it becomes. If you find backlog, report it early.
