灯罩料换得快,旧料留在仓里,透明也会慢慢变成回忆。
PC/PET为什么难处理?它把PC的强度和PET的透明耐溶剂拼在一起,专门给尾灯灯罩、家电透明件这种既要透亮又要耐酒精的地方用。可正因为是透明合金,色差一点都藏不住,跟玻璃杯上的划痕一样,新的时候看不见,放久了全出来。普通回收商看不出你这袋PC占几成,也不敢乱接透明料——接错了做出灯罩发雾,下家要退货。合金料单价不低,压在仓里又是资金又是租金,时间一长PC那部分还吸潮,透明度肉眼可见地往下掉。
透明料就怕的不是混,是放着放着就不透明了。
还有个细节:透明料就怕和有色料混放,哪怕蹭上一点杂色,整批透明度都打折扣。统货商拿手电筒一照,照出一点杂色就砍价,你想分都来不及,只能认栽。
再说收废料的。你打一圈电话,对方一听"透明PC/PET",先打退堂鼓,"这个料要求高,我们做不了"——等你真找到敢做的,价已经压到脚踝了。统货商的套路你早见怪不怪:电话里报个高价勾你,上门对着料袋看半天,"这批透明度不够了""那袋边上有雾",七八个理由砍你一二十个点。有些更绝,专门拿手电筒照你袋里的料,照完挑出一半说"这些只能当普通PC收"。说白了,他不是在收货,是在拿你的透明度当谈判筹码。
越透明的料,越容易被挑出毛病。

避坑三条。"透明料随便找个收废料的?"真相是不懂透光率的人只会给你统货价。"放着慢慢用?"真相是吸潮后透明度不可逆下降。"谁价高卖给谁?"真相是不敢测透光率的贩子,到手必砍。

Old He was making car taillights in Taizhou. A batch of PC/PET alloy material was stored in the warehouse because the design of the lamp assembly was changed. This material was specifically used to wipe the transparent and alcohol-resistant taillight covers, and the new design switched to PMMA technology. The seven tons of PC/PET instantly went from "custom-made" to "useless." The bag opening looked bright under the light, but Old He knew that if left any longer, the transparency would suffer. He asked the warehouse manager to check the purchase price and sighed, "This material isn't cheap to buy." "

Lampshade material changes quickly; old material stays in the warehouse, and transparency gradually becomes a memory. Why is
PC/PET hard to handle? It combines the strength of PC with the transparent solvent-resistant properties of PET, specifically for areas like taillight shades and transparent appliances that need both transparency and alcohol resistance. But precisely because it's a transparent alloy, color differences can't be hidden—just like scratches on a glass—invisible when new, but all show up after a while. Ordinary recyclers can't tell what percentage of your bag of PC is made, nor do they dare to randomly connect transparent materials—if you connect them incorrectly and make the lampshade foggy, the next store will have to return it. Alloy materials are not cheap per unit price, but stored in the warehouse with funds and rent. Over time, the PC part absorbs moisture, and the transparency visibly drops.
The real concern with transparent material isn't mixing it, but that it becomes opaque after being sitted.
Another detail: transparent materials are afraid to be mixed with colored materials; even a bit of color loss reduces the overall transparency. The wholesaler shines a flashlight on it, and if a bit of color is visible, they bargain. You can't even split the price in time, so you have to accept defeat.
Now let's talk about the waste collectors. You make a round call, and as soon as the other party hears "transparent PC/PET," they back out, "This material has high requirements, we can't make it"—by the time you find someone willing to do it, the price is already down to your ankle. You've long been used to the wholesale supplier's tricks: they quote you a high price over the phone, then come and look at the material bags for a long time, saying "this batch isn't transparent enough," "there's fog on the edge of that bag," and they give you seven or eight reasons to cut you off by a dozen or twenty points. Some are even more extreme, shining a flashlight on the materials in your bag, then picking out half and saying, "These can only be accepted as regular PC." To put it bluntly, they're not actually receiving goods; they're using your transparency as a bargaining chip.
The more transparent the material, the easier it is to be found flawed.

You print the material bags, quantity, light transmission, and use for auctions, and we rate based on the actual product grading. Once we reach an agreement, we deliver the goods to your door. Old He from Taizhou's seven-ton tail light PC/PET was appraised and discounted to a solid price, directly offsetting about half of his second half of the payment for KONICE's modified material in the second half of the year. Looking at the bag opening to the light, that piercing feeling is gone.
Turning foggy material into new material quota is better than continuing to fog it up.
We have received quite a few recyclable PC/PET grades. The SABIC XYLEX series of automotive taillights and PC/PET alloys for home appliances are our regular recipients; Other brands and other formulas of PC/PET are also welcome to submit materials, subject to physical appraisal. Recyclable forms include obsolete original packaging (whole or loose packages are fine), sprue and gate materials, lampshade scraps and machine head scraps, taillight scrap and defective products, as well as inventory scraps at the end of the project. Clearly labeled and with single compositions can all be negotiated.
Three pitfalls to avoid. "Transparent materials, just pick any scrap source?" The truth is, people who don't understand light transmittance will only give you a fixed price. "Leave it and use it slowly?" The truth is that after absorbing moisture, transparency irreversibly decreases. "Whoever sells at the highest price?" The truth is, dealers who don't dare to measure light transmittance will be dealt with as soon as they get it.
